Fontainhas Douro Flats

Localização, apartamento bem equipado e tudo funcional.

good sized property, nice layout kitchen/living room downstairs very spacious, and bedroom upstairs. Luminous ambient modern looking. You get all needed appliances. Well equipped. Everything very clean and smells fresh.

Check in process a nightmare, spent 30 minutes on the noise sidewalk trying to get in. Property owner expects guests to sign a contract, yes a signed contract that they send by PDF file, almost impossible task if you are walking with a phone, we were not sitting at the comfort of my office. After long discussion they let us in without the signed contract that I sent later. None had asked that in a 2 month trip in Europe. If you are that picky, then make technology easy like sending dousing contract or similar that you can sign on the go in your phone. That street has heavy traffic, but shooting off windows you can mitigate the honking and traffic noise. Bathroom is the only room too small, makes difficult to take shower or get in and out.

Great secure location near to fab restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping. Plenty space in the duplex apartment with balcony at back of building so really quiet at night, away from busy street at front. Would definitely return. Lift is a bonus.

Shower pressure a bit disappointing. Plus the wall attachment was loose/broken so shower head keep falling over. Easy to fix. Also would be great to have more utensils ie sharp knives. Not that we cooked at all but I like to chop fruit and veg for snacks and there was only one large knife in drawer. Minor I know, sorry.

Explicaciones claras del check in.
