Bangalow Retreat in Buderim

We loved the view of the wooded valley behind the house; the covered back porch with a large table for entertaining our family for dinner; the location near Buderim, which is a charming little town; and nearby grocery shopping. The pool will be great in the summer.

Nothing, really.

We really enjoyed staying in this property. The house was clean and fully equipped with everything you would need on a holiday. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials. We spent most of our time in the pool and outdoor area. Views of the rainforest were incredible. Very peaceful and tranquil.

During our stay, we appreciated the overall location and amenities, but there were a few areas that could be improved. The mattresses were not very comfortable, which impacted our rest. We also encountered some pests, including spiders, cockroaches, ants, and lizards inside the house. While we understand pest control is done, more frequent treatments might be beneficial. Additionally, the kitchen tap was loose, and the upstairs bathroom had a drainage issue that caused water to pool during showers. Also, the balcony door in the main bedroom had a locking issue and would open on its own, needing adjustment.

Had a lovely homely feel and was very central to everything. The kitchen was well equipped and enjoyed the barbecue and pool.

We had a fantastic weekend staying at Bangalow retreat. The house is beautiful but the pool was the stand out for us. The children and the adults had lots of fun. It’s such a peaceful setting but still only a short drive to shops or the beach.
