In the nearby village of Mosstodloch is Baxters food processing factory, a family-run company that has been operating in the area since 1868. Dolphins can often be seen playing at sea along this stretch of Scottish coastline, and ospreys can be found fishing for food for their young who nest in the tall pine trees.
