Ocean view by Charmes - Penthouse

The house was a great location. We enjoyed the large outdoor sitting area!

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oceanview. We were three couples. Each couple had a bedroom with a bathroom. two rooms had king beds the third room two singles that we put together to make a king. the penthouse had 4 full bathroom (sink/toilet/shower). each couple had their own bathroom then there was a spare off the living area. The view was spectacular. we could see the ocean and a view of the marina. we could walk to old town in 20 minutes. you could walk to marina too the road is a little busy but if you take care you can do it. an uber fare is only 4 euros to old town, the marina and grocery stores if you don’t want to walk. Uber service in Albufeira was excellent and cheap. our Ubers took no longer than 5 minutes to get to us and the fares were very cheap. you only need a rental car for longer distances like Faro Lagos or Carvoeiro. We liked the Castillo beach and it was only 4 euros to get to there also so do the planning and research before you rent a car you may not need it for the whole stay. we found some days it was much cheaper to just Uber than rent a car. it was the collision insurance that was expensive. the location is in the middle of the Algarve so the Oceanview is a perfect home base. We truly loved the accommodations and the Algarve. we did Faro, Olhao, Tavira, Silve, Sagre, Monchique. Boat cruise to the Benagil caves. ebike tour of Caviero. all were excellent and enjoyable. Sagre is a must. so beautiful. Our trip exceeded our expectations.
