Pleasant worth the dollar paid

The parking is great! Good space in the back and it’s free!

The restrooms didn’t have any soap or toilet paper I understand byo towels and such but that could be available and no soap for dishes were available so that most definitely would help to wash dishes and keep basic necessities as washing hands after using the restroom having toilet paper maybe also having disposable Napkin machine or a hand dryer to save on paper

It was not comfortable at all majorly due to the bed condition.

It was clean and easily accessible.

No one followed the house rules, replies late as instructions weren’t clear. Doors weren’t locked. Noises all around. Bed was not comfortable at all as mattress wasn’t stable on the bed. No hot water in the basin.

The location of this place was the only good thing about it. It has so much potential, but there are far to many negatives to this property that I struggle to find any positives.

The front door to the apartment building AND the front door to our specific apartment were often left unlocked, which made us feel extremely unsafe. The toilets had a build up on wee on the outside of the bowl, the showers were mouldy and the kitchen was left in an extreme mess. The dishes in the sink had been there so long there was mould growing underneath the plate in the sink. We had alot of people coming in and out of the apartment all weekend smoking weed inside, yelling and screaming (And we came home to a girl not wearing pants sitting in the loun geroom) which also made us feel quite unsafe to leave our small room. It was the worst place I have ever stayed in and I still cant seem to get a hold of the property to get a refund.

Great value for the price.

Great value for the price, would stay at again. Is in an area of Chicago that doesn’t have quite as many touristy things but it is very close to bus stops and not far from train lines. Shared bathrooms and other resources were very nice.

No way to control AC. Ran a little bit hot, and the window didn’t have a bug screen. Still pretty happy though because the price was very affordable and facility was very clean.

You have to share amenities with other people you only get a full size bed with limited room around space I wouldn't recommend I definitely thought this was a one bedroom suite. I think they need to put that in their title. Bathroom and kitchen weren't as clean as I would've liked it because we were sharing with others.

Good cost-effective place to stay near U Chicago.

It is a very convenient place to stay if one is visiting Hyde Park or the University of Chicago (my case). It is in a walking distance (20 min). The neighborhood is calm and quiet. The place is clean and it is silent. Communication with the hosts was effective. I think it is a good place to stay for short and medium length visits.

The WiFi does not reach all bedrooms with the same quality. I had very weak signal. Happily, they use the same password for the other WiFi networks though they did not clarify that on the check in message and took me some time to realize about it.

Has a bed but felt dirty.

It had a bed and was relatively close to the areas I needed to be near.

The facilities were not clean. There was hair everywhere in the restrooms, the doors were left unlocked and open to the main entrances. One of the showers only offered scalding hot water and it was just unclean overall. At one point, someone did come to clean and we could hear them but it was a quick pass of emptying the trash bins and wiping down counters.

The wifi “Drexel 101” never showed up so never got a chance to use it , used our hotspot instead. We were only given 1 set of towels for a 3 day stay. Had to use majority of the towels that first day for the bathroom floor after stepping out the shower. Also the shower floor and walls were dirty, didn’t look properly cleaned. And there was no hand soap to wash our hands. We also ran out of tissue due to the other roll getting dirty having stains on it.

My stay was terrible I’ll never book here again.

I'm writing to express that I do not feel comfortable staying in this room. It smelled its very unprofessional There was a hole in the wall hidden behind the dresser, the door doesn't feel secure, and the room was extremely hot upon arrival. The sheets were dirty, bloody and the kitchen appeared to still be under construction

Smells bad. Yellow bed sheets and blankets. When we arrived, the blankets were even still wet cannot be used at all. Me and my friend we used the bed sheets or cover sth like that to sleep. Really bad experience. The bed is not comfortable as well. The bathroom looks tidy but not well sanitized. I think the beddings may not be sanitized as well. Feel uncomfortable and I was wearing long shirts long pants and socks on to sleep.

Plenty of room, the furnishings were all up to date. The staff was quick to respond via email and very polite. Also, Had great security, and it was a good location.

The quiet hour wasn't adherred to. The night I checked in (from a day full of traveling) there were guests in the commons area talking, playing music from reels till 12:35am. The kitchen trash was also overflowing when I first came in so it wasn't a great first impression. The toilet also in my room needed to be cleaned. Outside of that everything else was good.

Wifi was not good. Sharing space with 5 rooms that could have up to 3 people in each room. The shared public spaces rarely cleaned, so kitchen area smelled bad bathrooms not kept up and sanitized appropriately

Loving Chi.

My first time in Chicago. I traveled from the airport to the Drexel Apt.via public transportation. It was very easy to get to. The place is secured with electronic locks, very, very clean and the furniture is well appointed. The building is very quiet, and I loved the location. I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and encountering neighbors who said good morning. I went to Goree for delicious food, and the local buses are easy to catch. I will return. Thanks to the host.

Room was decently sized and the common living area was beautiful. Washrooms were clean.

Room didnt had curtains enough to blackout sun outside. They were transparent. Kitchen cooking range gas stove did not work. Complained multiple times but did not resolve.

Overall it’s a recommended place to stay at on budget.

We stayed here for 4 days and for the price it was very good affordable. The room we stayed in has a shared bathroom which we didn’t expect but it’s was ok. The inside of the bathroom was never cleaned unless we ourselves clean it. There’s also a watching machine and a dryer, this place also has a free parking place for all. There’s no tv in the rooms but There was one Tv in the living room that nobody uses so when me and my boyfriend stayed we just moved it in our room. There’s also WiFi and our data was not working good in the room unless we come in the living room. The kitchens was well supplied it has everything we needed.

Skarga dotycząca pobytu w Drexel Apartments, Chicago 1. Brak terminowej informacji o dostępie do obiektu Dane potrzebne do wejścia do apartamentu przekazano dopiero na 6 godzin przed moim planowanym zameldowaniem w Chicago. Co więcej, zostały one wysłane osobie trzeciej (w Polsce), która dokonywała rezerwacji w moim imieniu. W chwili ich przesłania byłam już w podróży, a osoba ta zakończyła pracę, ponieważ przez cały dzień nie otrzymała żadnych informacji od obiektu. Zgodnie ze standardami gość powinien otrzymać takie dane co najmniej 24–48 godzin przed rozpoczęciem pobytu. 2. Nieprawidłowy adres obiektu Po przyjeździe do Chicago okazało się, że adres podany w rezerwacji na Booking.com (5011 South Drexel Boulevard) nie odpowiadał żadnemu budynkowi. Prawidłowy adres to 5017 South Drexel Boulevard. Po 15 godzinach podróży błądziłam od budynku do budynku, licząc, że w końcu znajdę właściwe miejsce. Nawet lokalni przechodnie, którzy próbowali mi pomóc, nie potrafili zlokalizować obiektu. 3. Brak kontaktu z administratorem Wielokrotnie próbowałam skontaktować się telefonicznie z administratorem (numer podany w rezerwacji na Booking.com). Dzwoniłam od godziny 14:00 czasu lokalnego, jednak nikt nie odebrał telefonu. Rozważałam już rezerwację innego hotelu, aby uniknąć sytuacji nocowania na ulicy. Dopiero przypadkowa pomoc budowlańca, który skontaktował się z właścicielem, umożliwiła mi wejście do apartamentu. Cały proces ustalania adresu, szukania obiektu i kontaktu z administracją trwał łącznie około 7 godzin. 4. Stan techniczny apartamentu Podczas pobytu okazało się, że w apartamencie znajdują się co prawda dwie łazienki, jednak w jednej była dostępna wyłącznie zimna woda, a w drugiej – jedynie wrząca. Taki standard jest całkowicie niedopuszczalny i niezgodny z opisem obiektu. Uważam, że zostałam wprowadzona w błąd, poniosłam dodatkowe koszty oraz doświadczyłam znacznych strat nerwowych. Stanowczo odradzam korzystanie z tego obiektu.

Pozele din anunț nu reflectă realitatea. Camera, și apartamentul nu arată ca în poze. Totodată, informația referitoare la spațiu nu este prezentată corespunzător deoarece am plătit o cameră dintr-un apartament de 5 camere unde am împărțit spații comune(sufragerie, bucătărie) cu alți turiști. Mai mult de atât, am avut probleme cu sistemul de acces de la intrarea din apartament care nu s-a rezolvat pe timpul șederii noastre iar comunicarea cu propietarul a lăsat de dorit. Cu toate că am sunat la numărul de telefon din anunț, acesta nu a răspuns la apelul meu preferând să comunice cu mine prin mesaje pe aplicația Booking.com. Am găsit prosoape curate dar efectiv ude(probabil au fost spălate chiar înaintea sosirii noastre). Nu recomand!
