You couldn't ask for a better location! The hotel is situated right at UNESCO Durbar Square, putting you in the absolute center of everything. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Please note that there is no air conditioning, which is worth keeping in mind depending on the season (if you need that). For me it was okay. ​ The bathroom was clean and had reliable hot water, which was a huge plus. They also provided free drinking water, which I really appreciated. The owner is super friendly and helpful. He also offers an airport shuttle for a cheap price. ​If you don't mind a bit of city noise and want to be right where the action is, this place is a clean, comfortable, and highly recommended choice! In general: It is next to the busy Durbar Square. Because of this, it is quite noisy since there is always something going on outside, but that’s the price you pay for being in the heart of the city.

This stay is right in the middle of Kathmandu, and everything you want is at the walkable distance, temple, shopping place, restaurants, Kathmandu Durbar square and much more. This stay is clean, calm and safe. We stayed there for 2nights and 3days without any hassle. We also got the privilege to take drop to airport at the time of checkout and that’s really kind of the owner to get that arranged for us.

Man befindet sich in einer super Lage, sehr zentral und in der nähe mehrerer Sehenswürdigkeiten. Lokale Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants sind in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Es ist sehr lebhaft und zugleich auch eine Wohngegend. Ich kann es auf jeden Fall empfehlen, wenn man nicht unbedingt im touristischen Zentrum Thamel bleiben möchte. Man hat zudem eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Es gibt außerdem ein Dach von dem man diese noch besser genießen kann. Der Besitzer ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und würde beim nächsten mal wiederkommen.

We had a great stay at this three-room apartment very close to Durbar Square. The apartment was very clean, with comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen, and reliable hot water showers. It is located on a quiet square with beautiful views of a nearby temple, while still being just a short walk from grocery shops, coffee places, and real local atmosphere. The owner was very kind and helpful, and communication was easy throughout our stay. He was flexible with the key handover, made sure the apartment had everything we needed, and quickly helped us with anything that was missing. He even helped us get around the city with his van parked right in front of the apartment. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Kathmandu who is looking for a comfortable, well-located place with a very attentive and welcoming host.
