The location is perfect on the marina, lots of restaurants & bars, great for walking along the promenade. The apartment itself everything you need.

There were a few bits in the apartment that really need a bit of attention. The draws in the bedroom were broken, we opened a draw to put our clothes in & it collapsed onto the next one, so did the next draw down which made them unusable! The shower cubicle really does need re-grouting. Small things but would make such a difference.

David met us at the apartment with the keys, he took his time to show us where everything was and how it worked, He also took us through the informative tourist book which even had the best restaurants and supermarkets listed.

The only small thing was there was no toaster, one would have been good for breakfast

A few items to sort out here. 1) First of all, we couldn't access the apartment until an hour after we were allowed access! (4pm) The host said they were there, but we were there for 2 hours waiting. Nobody was there to let us in until 5pm! 2) The biggest problem we had was that we only had one Towel each for the whole 2 weeks. We had to wash them all the time. But the terrace had no sun all day, so it took up to 2 days to dry them? Therefore we were using damp towels almost continually. It was a nightmare! we needed at least 2 towels even just for rotation of washes! 3) You must be very careful when bending down near the hob. I bashed my head on the cooker hood a few times! 4) The toaster is very basic and rubbish! Probably made in the 1930's? 5) There are not enough cooking items. 6) The linen is never changed so we had the same bedding for 2 weeks! Again. washing caused a big problem when trying to dry the sheets etc! 7) The pots are useless, especially hotting up water. They don't heat up for ages on the "very poor" ceramic hobs. Timing our rice for a meal was a joke! 8) We couldn't access the apartment until 5pm. 2 of us with 5 bags and cases, this made things very difficult. There's no place to leave the cases until we had access! 9) If you turn on the kettle when the hobs/oven are being used, the power keeps on tripping out! 10) There were people working in the above flat/s during the whole fortnight from 8am until 10 pm using drills and hammers! Apart from that, nice place!
