The location was great and the staff were good if we needed them.
EDIT: the property proceeded to send me multiple messages after they saw my review and told me to edit or remove it. They said they had new access to the property and put signs up. I have since spent another day in Hanoi at a different hotel and have passed this place multiple times and there are no signs or new entrances! Honestly it’s all a bit dodgey and never would expect someone to message me to delete my review and mislead other travellers!!
1. That the place was really hard to find as there are no signs and when you google map you end up at a pottery shop. No one communicated with us that to get to the place you walk through the pottery shop.
2. That you are essentially locked in or out of the place when the pottery shop is closed as it is the only entrance and exit to the place so if the shutters are down you are not going in. You have to text the staff to let you in at all hours which they were very good with we were only left on the door step maximum of 10 minutes. The real issue with this is that it’s a total health and safety issue as if there was an emergency and you needed to get out then it’s not going to be good and this is something which is quite worrying actually if you think about it before you go to sleep!
3. On booking.com they have stated you can pay by card, this is not the case. Again this was not communicated to us until we were checking out and our taxi to the airport was already waiting outside for us so causing us a delay whilst we had to go to the atm.
4. King suite is not an appropriate name for the room as it’s just a bedroom with a bathroom no suite elements to it. The room also has no outside window. Again not mentioned.
5. Plug sockets are hanging off the walls
