The location is exceptional. The hotel opens to a huge u-shaped valley surrounded by mountain. The entire valley is verdant tea gardens. Gaurs (Indian Bisons) rest right under the balcony. You can see Kotagiri at a distance. The air is fresh like nothing else. Locations rarely get better than this. The room was vast, with sturdy, well-thought-out furniture. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large. The balcony was spacious enough for two people to sit. Umer was an exceptionally kind-hearted caretaker. The food is homely; nothing extravagant. But it was healthy, and I frankly don't expect culinary luxury at a place where Gaurs and leopards roam.
Nothing comes to mind.
