We are so happy we chose this apartment for our Paris trip. Location is incredible!!!! The host has amazing communication and we regualrly whatsapp'd throughout the trip. Thanks to the host, we discovered our favourite local resturant, La Marine, where we visited multiple times throughout our stay! Thank you thank you! If apartment is available when we visit in future, we would pick again. The apartment is safe haven right by Republique station. Once you enter the apartment foyer, it feels so safe and nice. The surrounding flats seem to house some artist/design studios which added a wonderful energy to the vibe. We didn't cook any food in the flat so I cannot comment on this. Why cook breakfast when there's a bolangerie opposite the road with amazing pastries ;) Thank you for the recommendations, we look forward to coming back

Nothing apartment was great. If we had to pick something, the shower amentites are humble, there isn't any shower products so you will need to pack your own, but this wasn't an issue for us. A hook to hang a towel for the shower room would be helpful. Other than that, we cannot think of anything else because it's a wonderful apartment and a wonderful host.

It was a good size for two people for the week, and a great location for touring the area and hopping on Metro. There were lots of places to eat and drink, and the canal is just lovely in spring! We especially appreciated the queen size bed, which was very comfortable, and lots of covered space to unpack. The living room was the right size to relax after a long day of touring.

Overall, we did enjoy the apartment but over the course of the week we noticed some oddities and small, easy fixes that we'd recommend to improve the experiences for future guests. For example, there are no instructions on how to use anything including the washer dryer, the baseboard heaters (one of which we just never got working), the bedroom light switches (there was a small remote in the headboard, but the light over the door never worked) or even where to find the ironing board (it was under the bed where we never would've looked). There was also a wall safe, but it was not working and again, had no instructions on how to use it or reset it if that was needed. In the kitchen, we encountered dirty trays in the oven and dirty cooking pots. Also if you were going to provide a full kitchen where someone might cook, it makes sense to provide either plastic storage wear or foil or plastic wrap or bags to store leftovers. We had some snacks that we didn't fully finish and we were having to store them in covered pots in the fridge which was really odd. The owner offered to bring things for us, but it's really more about just having those things handy when you have provided a kitchen. The shower had nowhere to hang up your towel when you were taking a shower, so you had to put it on top of the washer dryer. It would go a long way to have a few hooks just right outside the shower so that it's convenient to grab them. It was also a bit odd to have a mostly empty bottle of baby shampoo and an enormous bottle of conditioner sitting there. It would be better off not supplying any toiletries because these items felt like they were just leave behinds from some other guest and we didn't want to touch them. I didn't love that we only got one key, because if we had an early riser or we had different plans for a few hours (touring vs shopping), we had to coordinate who got to keep the key and who would have to come home first.

Location was excellent and only 100m from République Metro.

A bit scruffy. Stained sofa. Towels need replacing. Needs some liquid hand wash for the sinks, not an old bar of used soap. Needs some new mugs. Small toilet could be awkward for larger people or those with accessibility issues. For the price we expected something smarter and fresher.
