God hostel, close to aiport, clean and cosy

We were very pleasantly surprised by SAM hostel. It’s located very close to the airport (about a 4-minute drive). The place is new, very clean, with a nice and modern design. There was plenty of parking space. We stayed as a group of 11 people and booked 4 rooms. The kitchen was well equipped, with several types of tea available. The only small downsides were the lack of a TV and limited shared bathrooms, although one room had a private bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.

The spacious and comfortable room, fittings and appearance beautiful, a little chocolate was left on each pillow, great communication, about to make own own meals as fully equipped kitchen.

Only one toilet per gender and shared shower area.

5 Stars – Peaceful, Clean, and Exceptionally Comfortable Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the SAM Hostel in Hamburg. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean everything was – both the room and the shared areas were impeccably maintained. The room (Erholsam) was surprisingly spacious and thoughtfully furnished, offering a sense of calm and coziness that made it easy to relax. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hostel was quiet and peaceful – perfect for a restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the well-equipped shared kitchen and the little details like free coffee, tea, and spices. Although there is no staff on-site, the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the whole process felt smooth and secure. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Hamburg, I can highly recommend SAM Hostel. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very nice and clean stay

The property is very clean and quiet. Very modern looking and comfortable. Considering how high prices are in Hamburg this was a good deal. We had huge room which was also nice.

I wish there would be separated showers for men and women. The location is 15 minute walk from metro and almost half an hour journey by metro to center. But the surrounding is beautiful and quiet so that’s nice.

The location was very quiet, but there’s nothing to do in the environment. If you have a car or use this place to stay overnight to catch a flight for the next day, it is perfect, but not as a place to discover the city.

Sengen var under al kritik. De var smalle og madrasserne total flade og bløde. Og havde et betalt af blød gummi som bare føltes trals. Jeg måtte flytte over på sofaen for at få sovet.

Unkompliziertes check-in über Zugangs-Code, Anreise zwischen 15-23 Uhr möglich, sehr gute Ausstattung der Zimmer, Gemeinschaftsküche sehr gepflegt, sehr saubere Gemeinschafts-Sanitärräume, gemütlicher Gemeinschaft-Aufenthaltsraum. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen für Kurzaufenthalte.

Noch nie, und wir haben in Hamburg schon viele Unterkünfte getestet, haben wir uns so wohl gefühlt. Es war fast wie zu Hause ankommen. Zimmer so hell, sauber und gemütlich. Im gesamten Hostel sehr ruhig. Obwohl noch andere Gäste dort übernachteten, haben wir sie nicht gesehen :) Matratze absolut topp, keine Rückenbeschwerden. Die Küche voll bis ins kleinste Detail ausgestattet. Duschkabinen sehr modern und gepflegt. Es gab absolut nichts auszusetzen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt

Wir haben uns sehr über die schönen und großzügigen Zimmer gefreut. Das Gemeinschafts-WC und die Gemeinschaftsduschen waren ebenfalls sehr geräumig und schön gestaltet. Die Küche und Gemeinschaftsräume sind liebevoll eingerichtet. Dazu kommt, dass alles sehr sauber ist, gute Parkmöglichkeiten und sehr gute Organisation. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

At jeg ikke kunne finde ud af fra jeres beskrivelse hvor man måtte parkere foran hotellet, plus var meget usikker på hjemmefra, hvor de tre koder fungerede. C’était propre ! Ça donnait donc envie de garder l’endroit propre. Les toilettes étaient propres, je n’ai utilisé qu’une douche durant le séjour et elle était propre aussi. Il n’y avait pas beaucoup de gens donc c’était calme la majorité du temps et je n’ai eu aucun problème à utiliser les parties communes. La chambre était grande ! J’ai même commandé sur takeaway, et j’avais peur de rater ma commande car je n’ai pas un numéro Allemand mais le livreur n’a eu aucun mal à sonné directement à la porte. En conclusion, moi qui était retissante à l’idée d’aller dans un hôtel avec des parties communes, je n’ai absolument aucun regret. Je suis très agréablement surprise

Il n’y a qu’une toilette pour femmes (et une toilette pour hommes), si les chambres étaient plus remplies, ça aurait pu être un problème le matin, sachant que j’étais là bas pour le travail (J’ai un peu eu du mal à y aller le matin de mon dernier jour car il y avait une famille mais ça n’a pas dure longtemps !). Les douches sont mixtes. Un peu déçue qu’il n’y ait pas de télé dans les chambres, mais ce n’est pas très grave. Les coussins étaient effectivement très mous (le lit aussi) ! Je n’ai pas vraiment eu de problème avec ça, j’ai juste dû m’y habituer mais ça pourrait déranger certaines personnes. La couverture du lit est trop petite ! J’aurais aimé qu’elle soit un peu plus large. L’emplacement était parfait pour MOI car mon lieu de travail se trouvait à quelques pas de là mais la zone n’est pas très intéressante... mais je ne peux pas le leur reprocher

Großes Zimmer mit allem was benötigt wurde. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da und haben praktisch nur Übernachtet.Das Parken war sehr gut und eine E-Ladesäule für unser Auto war vor der Tür. Klasse!

Im ersten Moment fanden wir nicht den Eingang, ein Schild außen wär top. Ebenso ist das Zahlenschloss auf den ersten Moment nicht erkennbar und dunkel. Auch hier wäre ein Hinweisschild auf das Hostel hilfreich.

Wir haben das Hostel bereits heute begeistert weiterempfohlen! Als Familie übernachteten wir in einem Zimmer, das sehr geräumig und bequem war. Auch die Gemeinschaftsräume waren gemütlich und sauber. Insgesamt hat das Hostel – ganz wie der Name verspricht – ein richtig cozy Gefühl vermittelt. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man braucht, um sich etwas Leckeres zuzubereiten. Die Lage ist zwar nicht direkt im Zentrum, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis macht die Strecke absolut lohnenswert – und ganz nebenbei bekommt man während der Fahrt noch schöne Eindrücke von Hamburg.

Heerlijke plek, met de allure van een luxe hotel, voor de prijs van een hostel.

Het was een hostel, maar de kamer die we hadden was enorm, luxe en hip en gezellig. De keuken was groot en schoon. De toilet en douches ook. Het voelde heel erg luxe, maar was toch een heel betaalbare plek.

De douches hebben geen ruimte voor spullen/kleding/handdoeken. In de directe omgeving is weinig te beleven.

Sehr gut gelegen. Wunderschön ausgestattet. Geräumig und hochwertige sehr bequeme Betten. Gute Küchenausstattung. Sehr schnelle Reaktion auf unsere Anfragen. Checkin jeder Zeit nach 15.00 Uhr möglich (kontaktlos mit Pin). Das war super für uns. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen. Optimal wenn man so wie wir aus dem Süden Deutschlands kommt und nach Skandinavien weiter will...

Wir haben nur eine Toilette für Damen gefunden...lag vielleicht auch daran dass wir mitten in der Nacht ankamen. Aber wenn alle 4 Zimmer voller Damen sind, kann das eng werden.😉

Super Preis Leistung. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Die Unterkunft liegt etwas weiter außerhalb , mit dem öffis ist man vom HBF fast eine std unterwegs aber sieht was von Hamburg , hat also auch Vorteile . Zimmer und Sanitärbereiche sehr sauber . Das Zimmer hat eine sehr schöne Größe und ist optisch gut eingerichtet . Die Gemeinschaftsküche hat alles was man benötigt . Zum Airport Hamburg ein Katzensprung . Durchweg positiv alles .Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder .

Also wenn wir was bemängeln müssten dann vielleicht das kein tv Gerät auf dem Zimmer war . Aber das wurde uns vorab mitgeteilt und ist jetzt Jammern auf hohem Niveau .
