Poleo

Het hotel was extreem schoon, de sfeer was heel aangenaam en de maaltijden waren echt heerlijk. De chef en eigenaar was bovendien ontzettend vriendelijk en heeft ons geholpen met elk detail van onze reis.

Eigenlijk niets, alles was zeer goed verzorgd.

Poleo is a little peace of paradise. Situated next to Arusi, the furthest village from Nuquí, this place is ideal to chill and relax for a few days (you can walk to Termales in ~40min, hike in the jungle or boat on the river and enjoy the livelihood of Arusí, whitout being bothered by the noise - at night e.g. - as Poleo is a bit further off). Francis is a great host and an extraordinary cook (!!!), we had some of the best food of our whole trip. Highly recommend to stop by Poleo if you are visiting the region.

Absolutely nothing wrong about this place. General warning tho (to whom it may concern) : if you are travelling without an agency, I recommend doing a bit of research before visiting the Nuquí region - since it is pretty wide and the information I found about it was sparse. I would personally highly recommend staying in multiple spots to enjoy everything that the region has to offer without being too tied to boat (lancha) fees and timings !

Situado en un lugar paradisiaco, Poleo está ambientado de manera perfecta con la naturaleza. Además a esto se añade cocina local reinventada y creativa de 10 desde el desayuno hasta la cena. Sin lugar a duda una experiencia recomendable 100%

La estancia fue estupenda pero es importante señalar que no es un sitio cómodo para todos los públicos y que no dispone de todas las comodidades típicas de otros alojamientos: señal wifi, energía disponible de 6 am a 24h o agua caliente (no necesaria en nuestra opinión)

Nuestra estancia en estas cabañas en el Pacífico colombiano fue simplemente mágica. Desde el primer momento, Francis nos hizo sentir como en familia, brindándonos una hospitalidad genuina y cálida. El ecohotel está perfectamente integrado en la naturaleza, respetando el entorno y permitiéndonos conectar con la selva, el mar y su impresionante biodiversidad. Despertar con el sonido de los animales y las olas fue una experiencia inolvidable. Además, Francis no solo nos ayudó a organizar actividades increíbles en Arusí y sus alrededores, sino que también nos deleitó con su talento culinario. Su cocina, basada en productos locales y preparados con amor, es un viaje de sabores únicos. Sin duda, un lugar al que queremos volver y que recomendamos con los ojos cerrados Gracias por todo Francis.
