Snowdrop Stone Detached Cottage

The host was great at communicating. Arriving at the cottage, all instructions had been sent un great detail so we knew how to enter the cottage. The cottage is in a great location, its easy to acsess snowdon, the beach and portmerian plus lots of walks around if you have dogs. Would recommend

Myself, my husband, my 12 year old daughter, and our little dog had an amazing stay at Stonedrop Cottage. Beautifully decorated, amazingly well stocked, very cosy and comfy, and lots of information about the property and the surrounding area too. And a welcome basket too which was so lovely. My daughter loved her bedroom (she didn't want to leave), as we did ours. Also as people who suffer with pathetic water pressure, the shower was amazing. Amanda, the host, was informative, communicative, accommodating and friendly. Location was great for us to visit various places of interest. Can't fault anything.

Very clean comfy beds, plenty of light switches and sockets. Bathroom with shower upstairs and one with bath/shower downstairs. Good information pack. Owners had made a special effort to make bedrooms pretty.

Postcode and Street name for the property (as per booking.com advert actual name of street is Cavour ROAD) took us to wrong location, with help from locals house located via very difficult tiny rough roads to eventually get to it, tight small lane and parking spot a big car would have problems. Lock box worn and hard to open. Stairs narrow and steep although, not suitable if you have walking difficulties. More attention needed to cleanliness especially bathrooms. No bath mat upstairs so wooden floor got wet, not cloth to dry it, unless I used my own towel (instructions did not say to take your own bath mat). Toilet brush soiled, no spare toilet roll and only a few sheets on the the roll there. Sadly did not find the sofas very comfy. Upstairs bathroom did have spare roll. Spring on fire door in upsatirs bathroom very very strong. Food left by previous guests left in freezer/fridge on shelf, not used as already been opened.
