Balcony was great and got the sun which was perfect for having a coffee or food during the day. We were allowed to check in early despite only letting the owner know that morning. Even better he brought us some fresh food while we were unpacking which was amazing. Great hospitality. Bed was also very comfy.

We still enjoyed staying in the old house with the view to the lake.

Its an old fashioned house right at the lake shore with fancy modern furnature.

There was no air conditioning and at open windows the area is quite noisy due to traffic in the street in front of the house. There is no single shop in the small settlement.

Gio is number 1!

Gio! Excellent host and goes above and beyond. He is the reason we are 10kg heavier because of his fantastic cooking. Very kind man and great conversations. Lovely view of the lake, outdoor garden and sauna. Washing machine and dryer was great for a longer stay. Nice and warm when we figured out how to do the central heating.

The key to unlock the front door is quite wriggly so would be great to fix so we aren’t locked in haha. Our baby is learning to crawl so spent his time mainly only the floor and we noticed that his hands and knees were very black. Floors just need to be mopped because home is by the roadside.

Nice and clean Appartement, fits perfect for family's

Great Appartement with everything you need, full equipped kitchen with filter coffeemachine, balcony, big bathroom with showergel and shampoo and a sleeping room with a big and comfortable double bed (160x200cm) . The whole Appartement was clean and the host really friendly. You can park for free in front of the house. We highly recommend.

Great apartment and host, be aware that no groceries are available around so bring food with you

Wonderful propriety, beautifully upkept and very close to the Colmegna train stop. Amazing view over the Lago Maggiore. The area is very peaceful, there is however only one restaurant nearby, for groceries one has to either come prepaired or go to Luino (downtown, about 5 minutes by rail, 15 by bus and 45-60 by foot). If you do bring your own food, you won't be needing much as the apartment is fully equipped (the only thing it doesn't have is an oven, but there is a microwave). The host is very kind and eager to help in any way.

Unfortunately, during our stay the entire building had an issue with the boiler and there was no warm water in the evening. Eventually the problem got solved but it took nearly 2 hours before one could take a shower without getting hypothermia. This also caused the temperature to fall, making it very cold during the first night. We would be very grateful if there were more than one type of pillow, as they were very high - I'm aware this is a personal preference but that really diminished my comfort, despite everything being so nice otherwise.

CAUTION! Would NOT RECOMMEND. Host unfriendly and unwelcome from the start. Advertises as dog friendly but most definitely is not. Advertises as having a pool with a view which in reality is a broken hot tub with dirty water. BBQ in disgusting condition. Very busy and extremely noisy main road directly outside the front of the house, and train station/noisy train tracks directly at end of garden to rear. No local supermarket, and only one restaurant and expensive hotel within walking distance. The scruffy and unshaven host lives in a little hermit hut in the back garden. We didn’t like the way he creeps around at night and early morning. Mysteriously appeared at the laundry room every time my wife went to check on the washing. Nowhere to walk dog. Local beach was dirty with lots of fag butts and very little room. Parking outside the property is very difficult, especially at weekends. As soon as the owner saw our dog on his stone patio area (which was nowhere near the grass areas) he started shouting and swearing at us. Completely lost his head. Extremely concerned that our dog would urinate on his unkempt postage stamp grassy areas. Meant to be staying three nights but we had to leave after one night as he was so rude and aggressive. He did however do us a massive favour by being so nasty because we managed to move to a much, much nicer Apartment only a few miles away with much better facilities and a much more welcoming and dog friendly host! We have stayed in 8 hotels/apartments in 8 countries on our European road trip and this was the only one that made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

Honestly the apartment was beyond my expectations, Gianni is a super host, really kind and helpful. We had spacious and clean lake view apartment. It was a perfect location for our water lover dog as well. I can just recommend this place. The only thing that we had to get used to is the church bell’s that were right behind the apartment.

The atmosphere of the village , swimming in the lake , being able to hop on the train to the next village, the garden at the back of the property and the kindness of our host who gave generously the produce from his garden .And the chime from the church bells .

The fact that on booking the name of the village is the wrong one .the correct one is Colmegna.⁹

Awesome place to stay! Would definitely recommend!

The check-in was contactless and very easy as Giovanni wrote us the instructions. The apartment was really clean and spacious! We really felt at home. Our dog was also welcome. The garden was really beautiful and Giovanni also made us delicious aperitif. Giovanni and his Girlfriend were really kind and it was also nice to meet them. The location was also really great. There are plenty of parking spots right across the street. And you can also go for a swim right across the street on the beach. Right beside the house there is a really good Restaurant with delicious pizza.

It didn't really bother us but if you open the windows you can hear the traffic.

Our hosts, Giovanni and Marcella, were phenomenal. They were extremely kind and generous and made us feel at home from day one. We hope to come back as soon as possible!

We loved our stay but we would just recommend that fellow travelers bring some earplugs, especially if they are light sleepers. The home is next to a train station and a bell tower so it can get a little noisy at night, especially if it's warm and you want the windows open. Other than that, the place is nothing but marvelous!

Apartament located close to the lake (great view of the lake from the balcony). With great trattoria below the Apartament. Host is very nice and helpful. And surprise in the garden - jacuzzi for guest use :D we will definitely come back here!!!

Perfect place to stay

Everything was perfect. We had a great week at the Casa della Vittoria. The apartment was very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly. The images correspond to reality. Highly recommended!!! Thank you Gió for the delicious vegetables. We’d love to come back.

Beautiful property

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait à Como ! L’appartement était très propre, confortable et accueillant. Tout était prêt à notre arrivée : le chauffage était déjà allumé, l’eau chaude toujours disponible — un vrai confort après une journée de visite. Giovanni a été d’une gentillesse incroyable, toujours disponible et attentionné. Le spa dans le jardin est magnifique, un vrai petit coin de paradis pour se détendre. En plus, il y a de nombreuses places de parking juste en face de la maison, ce qui est très pratique. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit et reviendrons sans hésiter !

Traumhaft - See - Erholung

Die Lage war traumhaft. Über die Straße gelangt man direkt zum See. Der Vermieter ist sehr herzlich. Er hat uns Gewürze aus seinem Garten angeboten. Die Sauna im Garten durften wir nutzen :)

Dachte ich hätte ein Ferienhaus gebucht, so war ein Apartment in einem Haus.

Sehr angenehm.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super. Man kommt aus DE schnell hin, Strand vor der Tür, zwei Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar und Supermarkt auch nur 7 Minuten mit dem Auto. Das Badezimmer ist sehr schön gemacht worden und auch die Küche ist recht neu. Der Rest ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet.

Leider war die Küche zumindest für unsere Bedürfnisse nicht wirklich gut genug ausgestattet. Da dürfte gerne von allem noch etwas mehr vorhanden sein. Messer/Pfannen etc. Wegen Unverträglichkeiten mussten wir aber auch immer selbst kochen. Die Straße kann nachts bei offenem Fenster recht laut sein. Mich hat es aber nicht gestört. Züge fahren so wenige, dass es kein Problem ist.

Schöne Wohnung mit großer Terrasse und See direkt vor der Tür ;-)

Das Appartment liegt direkt am See, nur durch eine Straße getrennt. Zur nächsten Stadt Luino sind es nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto. Ein Bahnhof ist direkt hinter dem Haus. Giovanni ist sehr freundlich und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Er hat uns ständig mit Obst und Gemüse aus seinem Garten beschenkt. Mann kann Fahrräder im Garten abstellen, oder SUPs. Trotz Hitze war die Wohnung angenehem kühl. Gleich nebenan ist eine Pizzeria. Parkplätze stehen direkt an der Straße zur Verfügung. Betten waren bequem. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber.
