Charming Family Retreat: Vintage Pines Chalet
Welcome to Vintage Pines Chalet, your cozy mountain getaway perfect for families or small groups! Nestled in the heart of nature, this charming chalet invites you to relax and reconnect amidst the stunning beauty of the outdoors.

Warm and Inviting: Enjoy the welcoming living area, where you can gather by the fireplace and soak in the peaceful ambiance.
Well-Equipped Kitchen: Whip up family meals in the compact kitchen, fully equipped to make your stay comfortable.
Family-Friendly Bedrooms: The chalet features three cozy bedrooms—two with queen beds and a third designed for kids, featuring two twin beds and a full bunk, ensuring everyone has a restful night.

In the Donner Summit area, the weather can be fairly unpredictable. We do have contracted snow removal services, but cannot always guarantee the timing of their arrival. Please bear with us if a storm hits! If you want to make it to first chair, we will have shovels available.
Other things to note:
The parking area can only accommodate 2 cars in the winter. Cars parked in the street may be ticketed or towed, so please plan accordingly.
As coffee enthusiasts, we also offer our guests to use a rare Orphan Espresso Apex manual grinder during their stay (if they want to!). We also offer a more typical burr grinder, along with pour over and drip coffee options.
The train runs near our neighborhood (without much snow you can see it from the deck!) so we do provide white noise machines to help those light sleepers.
We do have a doorbell camera which captures video only.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. No problems finding the house and getting in and settled. It was clean and comfortable.
