    The price for one night at #### is a little steep, but not bad for the location and last minute booking. The cubicles are located behind a lock door that you access with the key card each cubicle is also locked and you have to use key card to get in. The bathroom was always clean and I saw them cleaning it multiple times a day. When I used the shower, the floor of the shower was a little dirty with some grime but nothing crazy. I would bring shower shoes, though the cubicle was also clean. It is pretty small but enough room as long as you don’t have a lot of luggage my biggest complaint is that the area where the rooms were located did smell like feet. This is not necessarily the fault of the hostel though and dependent on who is staying there at the time. I also wished there was a spot to get water closer to the rooms. The only spot that I saw was in the lobby, which is inconvenient if you drink a lot of water.

    I loved this hostel. Very clean (cleaners/ janitors were in my dorm multiple times a day). Staff were SO friendly, I lost my phone and they were nothing but helpful angels. Highly rec for solo travellers. If you’re in NYC for a while, a larger room may better suit but this place is excellent value for its location (plus they have robes!)

    I woke up to a fire alarm at 6am after not sleeping because you can hear every room open and close their door. They did not compensate me in any way and took a while to communicate that the fire alarm was a false alarm. For the price, I expect more.
