If you need to de-stress, just book this place. Tauhou Matakana is stunningly beautiful and incredibly quiet. Chantel and the sweet dog Bertie made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The space is super clean, the furniture is high quality, and the breakfast was such a treat. You can really feel the love Chantel and Peter put into their plants and fruit trees. It’s easily a 10/10 for us. Highly recommended!

Tauhou Matakana was one of the most beautiful, clean and serene places we have stayed in. Chantel and Peter were such generous hosts and shared kind touches like fresh plums and figs from the fruit trees outside our door. Its the perfect stay for a couple who want to explore this beautiful region of the North island.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft, sauber, perfekt eingerichtet, tolle Gastgeber, Unterkunft liegt in einer sehr schönen Gartenanlage. Uns hat alles seh gut gefallen, wie können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen!
