The location was great, close to everything. Only a few minute drive/walk to shop & save & coffee shops. The house is spacious. It is strange the kitchen is upstairs- so if you have elders or anyone unable to walk upstairs- this property probably is not for you.
The overall cleanliness of the property. The bathrooms were not strongly cleaned. They smelled sort of like a teenage boys bathroom. Best way I can describe it- eeek. The front porch was riddled with cobwebs & an overflowing ash tray (we don’t smoke). Just not kept in the best of shape. The black stone was completely trashed from previous guests. We had to clean it for a decently long time before part of it was able to be used. The chairs all need tightened in the kitchen. Refrigerator door had broken shelves. The carpet tack strips were exposed in certain areas- ouch. Nothing was of urgency or even worth calling an on call representative considering it was a holiday weekend- we worked around the cleanliness issue and enjoyed our stay.
I’d say the place just needs a solid maintenance tune up.
Overall, we had a nice time.
Would I stay here again?
No, but the accommodations did not ruin our trip. (Writing this review a few weeks late because I just haven’t gotten around to it)
