The advantages of this place are that it’s located in the city center, but if someone thinks it will be in the center near the Eiffel Tower — it’s not. It’s in a central area with lots of great bars, shopping stores, different restaurants with various cuisines, and regular shops where you can even buy cigarettes. Overall, everything was really great, I liked it a lot. For people who just come to enjoy Paris, walk around, and are looking for an affordable apartment, this is exactly the option that will suit you. Thank you!

The disadvantages. There aren’t many. We didn’t have any heating. We tried turning the radiator on and off, but it didn’t get warm. If you come in winter, it will really be very cold. Another minus is the cold floor — there’s nothing you can do about it. And the room is very small, which made it feel cramped. Regarding the heating issue, the host of the apartment was always in touch with us. He gave us phone numbers so that someone could contact us. They did call, but we were asleep at that moment. At that point, it didn’t make much sense to explain anything, because we were already leaving the next day — it was too late. I believe he did what he could. But it was very nice that the host responded to us, stayed in contact, and tried to help. Overall, the advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages. And if a bit more effort is put into improving the apartment — for example, expanding the space or at least insulating the floor — it would be an absolutely great place to stay right in the city center.

The location was perfect, very central and convenient for exploring Paris. The apartment had everything I needed facility-wise, and it felt super secure. As a solo female traveller, I really appreciated how safe and comfortable I felt here. Communication from the host was excellent and made everything smooth.

Nothing - zero complaints from me. This was very reasonably priced for the area and ticked all the boxes I was looking for - safety, facilities, location, very close to the metro and a nice shower - perfect!
