Church Path House

Was in a group of 11 for a 70th birthday so we had the whole house. The "top" table vantage point was amazing in the evening. Glass of wine overlooking the whole of Minehead bay. What the house may have lacked in 5 star facilities it more than makes up for in character. Our whole group thought it was perfect for our purposes and we're planning on doing it again.

There was nothing we didn't like because we knew it wasn't going to be Buckingham Palace. Jamie the owner was very helpful and obliging prior to us arriving.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Church Path House and had the best time ever !! We went with our sons and wives, granddaughters and partners great-granddaughter and Danny the dog 😊 The House was huge with 6 en-suite bathrooms, an enormous kitchen/breakfast room, a large dinning/sitting room and separate library with views over Minehead beach. There were 3 main outside seating areas, including one with a firepit for evening chats with a glass or two of wine. Jamie was an excellent host. We will definitely be re-visiting this super holiday home.

Quirky, spacious and interesting. Lived in feeling, cosy and full of character. Loved the open fires, generosity with logs and kindling. Comfy beds and location. The garden and views from the outside seating were perfect. Lovely pub in walking distance.

Whilst it was well equipped and the host was helpful it isn’t the cleanest of homes. Clean bed linen and towels - the important stuff. But things had been missed when we arrived and the kitchen equipment we cleaned before using. Not a deal breaker and would not put us off recommending this lovely place.

Location and everyone had their own bathroom.
