New Studio Apt Central》Private》 Free Parking》WiFi

The property is located at the top of the old town and so the surrounding area reflects its location. Everything was in the one room (bathroom excepted) and the layout was OK. The shower was good in that it didn't dribble it actually delivered a nice strong flow and there were soaps to use should you need them. Most things were clean except for two of the pans and some of the cutlery. There's a microwave, oven, stove, kettle and toaster, all of which worked so you can be fairly self sufficient. There's an excellent pub just across the road and a fantastic noodle bar just down the road heading to town.

The area around the bed was a little compact and could really benefit from not having a desk at the end of it especially if you have to get up in the night to use the bathroom. The location of the cutlery drawer beneath the countertop meant that you had to bend down and go under the counter to get to knives, forks etc. For me, being under the flightpath as you are in Stockport and it being so hot that the windows had to be open, meant that I didn't get a full nights sleep. It may be quiter with the windows shut.

The flat was clean and modern and was ideal for our purpose.

The flat is located on the a first floor, there is a narrow steep staircase, with a handrail that needs an urgent repair were it has pulled out the wall. The shower needs the waste/drain pipe looking at as it could overflow. While it advertises car parking, there's no guarantee you will get a space.

Great space. Enough room to lounge and move around comfortably. Bed was comfortable and TV easy to use and move to the direction you’re sitting (bed/sofa). Kitchen had everything that was needed and was great there was some salt/pepper/spices available. People have mentioned in reviews the parking was difficult to find but we did not have that issue. You can see where you park from the windows. Additionally the heating was easy to use and the place heated up well.

Shower struggled to drain so was worried the water would spill over into the bathroom (it didn’t). No curtain or blind on the windows in the kitchen area (bed is on the other side though so was not a big issue)

The location was good, 10 mins from town and quiet. Parking was good too.

The studio stank of cigarette smoke despite it being a smoke free stay. The smell was so strong even opening the windows didn’t help and now all my clothes stink of smoke. There were lots of furniture broken and the kitchen tap was faulty.
