Unfortunately the brakfast was not as great as described and kind of small. Additionally 2 of the 3 days we were there the coffee machine didn't work :(

El hotel está situado en una zona de calles muy bonitas (aunque muy turísticas con establecimientos caros). La atención del personal fue buenísima, y el desayuno también. La habitación está muy grande y cómoda.

Baja señal de wifi en la habitación. La habitación olía a productos químicos que creemos que echaron para el olor de las cañerías. No había sábana para taparse y hacía frío. Tenían una alfombra de colcha que no podía arroparnos a 2 personas y una especie de manta pequeña con la que intentamos cubrirnos pero que decir de que no fue cómodo, era pequeña y rugosa. Se oía roncar al dueño/uno de los empleados del hotel. Aunque la localización puede parecer conveniente por la estación de autobuses, resulta que el autobús al aeropuerto se coge a media hora andando porque no sale de la estación de autobuses sino de Hermes Aeroport office.

A Wonderful Stay in the Old Town

The owner and his team are friendly and very accommodating. The location in the picturesque Old Town was perfect.

The bathroom is very small and cramped without a shower curtain so it floods the bathroom when you shower. There wasn’t a blanket so I got a little cold during the night but didn’t want to turn the heating on. I’m sure they provide blankets as the weather becomes colder though

Fine stay

The people who run the hotel are very nice. The location is good in the nicest street of Vlore with lovely coloured houses.

The hotel was overbooked due to a problem in the booking system. We had to sleep in another hotel in the street which we liked less because it was extremely small and the staff was less nice. In Vlore is not that much to do. But that’s obviously out of the hands of the hotel owners!

Super hyggelig boutige hotel i den gamle bydel, med gå afstand til den nye bydel. Værterne var fantastisk søde og hjælpsomme og deres cocktails smagte godt. Morgenmaden var super lækker . Vi kommer gerne igen

Great vibe, comfortable bedroom and fun location

Cute place in old town right on the main drag. Market close by and lots of restaurants/bars etc. it’s pretty far from the beach and you will need to walk/taxi it to the shore, however this was something I didn’t mind which is why I booked here. I enjoyed the walk. Feels like a lot of love was put into fixing this place up, with still a few things to be done. Simple hippie vibe, clean, simple and comfortable :) Breakfast was amazing but if you are vegetarian or vegan make sure to let them know!

WiFi on the 3rd floor didn’t really work. When I said something I was told it was “impossible”. Well…apparently not. Encouraged me to read instead but you guys need to get a better signal upstairs. I would also suggest a full length mirror and somewhere to dry wet stuff, but really just a suggestion not a complaint. For some folks it might be a little noisy but I barely noticed it and slept like a baby. With all the above please know I highly recommend ❤️

Beautiful boutique hotel

The Buddha House Hotel and Cocktail Bar is a lovely little boutique hotel right in the centre of the Old Town. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we were greeted with a smile every day.

Only one little problem which can't really be helped is that I was kept awake by someone (not my husband, but from another room) snoring. Nothing the hotel can really do about that but it did leave me rather tired the next day.

Lovely little hotel in a great location. The room was small but very cute, with good air conditioning to keep it comfortable. The owner was unbelievably welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A charming place for a short stay.

Et gammelt hus kræver vedligeholdelse. Der var synlig skimmelsvamp i hjørnet (som de havde forsøgt at male over) i badeværelset og der lugtede lidt muggent. Afløb virkede ikke rigtig i badeværelset.

Het huis staat in een prachtig straatje, erg leuke omgeving met veel terrasjes. Ook dichtbij de straat waar de bussen naar elders vertrekken. Sfeervol huis met krakende vloeren (geen last van gehad). Ook goed ontbijt. Met de bus kun je richting het strand 0,40 p.p.

- Petit déjeuner préparé pour chaque personne par le patron, hyper complet et j'ai trouvé mon bonheur (en tant que végétarienne) - Chambre super cosy et agréable - Dans le vieux quartier animé (et pour aller à la plage, il y a 2-3km mais on les fait facilement à pied)

- C'est plutôt pour prévenir, le bar d'en face a mis la musique dès 6h du matin. Mais avec des boules quiès on n'entend plus rien :) donc pour les sensibles de oreilles, pensez-y !

Delightful

Everything about this place was spot on! The 3 owners offered exceptional & friendly service. The breakfast delicious & huge! Location is in old town amongst the well known painted villas (very pretty) & about a 20min walk to the beaches or you can take a bus ride or a 'very cheap 300lek' taxi ride! The bus from Himare or Dhermi stop up in town, closer to the beaches, so a 300lek taxi also. However buses north like to Tirana & Durres are just a close walk from the hotel in old town, very convenient when continuing north. Vlore is a very easy city to get around.

The hotel is still very new, so just a small suggestion. A towel railing in the bathroom would be helpful.

Het hotel ligt in een mooie straat in de oude binnenstad, wat zorgt voor een charmante en authentieke sfeer. Het hotel zelf is sfeervol en authentiek ingericht, perfect passend bij de omgeving. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd en smakelijk. De hoteleigenaar was erg vriendelijk en gastvrij, wat het verblijf extra aangenaam maakte.

Petit déjeuner simple et copieux. Hôtel super bien placé au centre de Vlora dans la vielle ville historique. Magnifique. Juste un peu loin de la plage (45mn à pieds) Mais le quartier est tellement chouette ! Et Lori est très agréable et réactif. Avant le voyage il a toujours répondu très rapidement à mes demandes et interrogations.

Clean, comfy, stylist with a lovely vibe and great host.

The room was so cozy and well designed, we stayed in the front room with a lovely balcony with a view of the pretty street, and moments away from some great restaurants. Breakfast was a very filling selection of pastries, toast, omelette, sausage and salad. The manager was so amazing, really friendly, giving some recommendations for dinner which we followed and were great, and accommodating of all our questions and needs, he clearly takes his business seriously and is devoted to his customers.

Literally no complaints at all. Worth noting that there isn’t parking on site due to it being in pedestrian street, but we found somewhere very nearby to park in the road for free.

Excellent! Best host in Albania!

This place is absolute gem in Vlore. Next time we will come to Vlore there is no other place we are gonna even consider. Owner was so nice and friendly. He clearly knows how to make guests feel welcome. He gave us a free coffee before checking in. Showed us the room in person and told us everything about the building. It is 200 years old, he left original floors and ceiling panelling. It is the best quality and definitely resonates with Buddha. It is minimalistic but in a very good way. Everywhere is real wood, even breakfast bowls are eco friendly and wooden. He gave us a free room upgrade as we booked a room with garden but there is construction going on behind it so he said he doesn’t want guests there if he has other rooms available. And when I tell you the balcony we got instead was so nice, it is worth every penny. In the evening we got some drinks, he knows what he is doing because they were delicious. We even got a free shot of jaggermaister with coffee, something we never had before! Was nice. Breakfast was okay, Turkish coffee was really good, as the owner is from Turkey so you can imagine. He also feeds all the stray cats that walk around there. Absolute sweetheart. He is really open for a chit chat. Hope his hotel will be full every day, especially after they will open airport in Vlore. Wish this hotel all the best! It exceeded our expectations!!! Wish I could submit photos of the property because it has such a great vibe…
