The big swimming pool was amazing, particularly as we stayed in summer and it was hot. The apartment complex was very quiet and being set back from the road it was very peaceful. The rooms were a good size and the living area was very comfortable and well equipped. It is a short 15-20 minute walk into town and it is also possible to walk to the canal and from there to the ecluses which was lovely.
Although not a problem for us, as the gate was open when we arrived so we could drive straight in, it might be more difficult if the front gate is closed on arrival (particularly if you don’t speak French).

Lovely spacious, comfortable and well equipped apartment. So good to have a balcony to sit out on. Location was good. Quite a long walk from the station but buses right outside.
We were very disappointed that the pool closed on our first day so we didn’t get a chance to use it.
