De kamer was mooi met een lekker zitje en een balkon met prachtig uitzicht

Het ontbijt liet geen keuze. Het was uitgebreid, maar niet alles was voor mij geschikt als ontbijt (warme kip, groente en salade). Daarnaast beschikken ze over een professionele espressomachine, maar ik kon alleen koffie uit een thermoskan krijgen.

The view for this hotel is just amazing. All rooms have lake view and seing the sun every morning going up on the opposite side of the lake is such a beautiful experience. I liked the fact that it’s not in the village but short walk away. The interior of the lobby / breakfast area is very stylish and if you are into architecture you will definitely love this place. They prepare a nice breakfast and I really appreciate that they prepared me something special once I told them the day before that my stomach is not very well. The stuff is very friendly (unfortunately not everyone speaks English) and they even assisted me to use the house washing machine to wash my laundry and hang it outside.

While I appreciate the look and design not only of the lobby but also of the room, I wish they invested some of the money that they used on the interior of the lobby/breakfast area into the comfort of the room. In my opinion a hotel is not a coffee place where you want people to admire the design but not to feel too comfortable to stay too long. The furniture in the room/balcony (chairs/sitting areas) is nice to look at but very uncomfortable. Also, as many mentioned, the bathroom interior is very outdated and unpractical (when showering it’s almost impossible to not make whole bathroom wet). Most of the lights (but not all) are super bright. I also didn’t experience the bed to be very comfortable, but also not very bad. Overall, I can recommend the place for the amazing view, but not for the overall comfort specially considering the quite high price.
