    The location, the place, the food and the experience is truly out of this world! Waking up to the scenery of the mountains blanketed by sea of clouds across and the tranquil lake in front of my garden, its scene makes the place exotic and absolutely stunning! The air filled with calming smell of nature, the colors of the sky, the clouds, the trees and the lake create a beautiful painting! Walking around the premises looking over the lake clears all worries from my head and I particularly love enjoying tea at the tea house next to the infinity pool. Together with the attentive service, The Lalu surpasses any other experience at resorts around the world.

    Pros: 1. The view from the room is great. I have a Lake View Suite. The rooms are very clean. Room is huge and love their amenities. I love the decorations. 2. Service is amazing from the moment we checked in to checking out. 3. Breakfast was great, with wide spread of local and international cuisine. 4. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant and it was great. Cons: 1. It is quite an old hotel therefore, there are very limited electrical outlets (1). There is only 1 outlet by the bed. We had to take turns charging our electronics. 2. As our rooms were suite, we have a living room and bedroom. The lights in the living room is quite dim. 3. Air conditioning is also not cold enough for us, even though we turned it to the min temp and max fan. 4. It is also quite expensive. This would be a great place to stay if you intend to stay in the hotel and not explore the city, in order to utilize the facilities for the price paid. I would return to this hotel if I don't intend to explore the city and just stay in the hotel to relax.
