Staying at the Seclusion at Mesa Verde NP was one of the best decisions we made for our Southwest Colorado trip. This unique dome stay on 200 acres felt like our own private paradise—total peace and quiet with no neighbors in sight, just stunning views and starry nights.
The location is unbeatable: it's literally right next to Mesa Verde National Park, just a short drive to the entrance, so we maximized our time exploring the incredible cliff dwellings without long commutes. Parking was a breeze—plenty of space right at the property, no worries about crowded lots or permits.
We loved the on-site options, including the sauna for relaxing after long days, and the horseback riding trail rides were a highlight! The hosts arranged everything, and riding through the beautiful surrounding landscapes felt magical—perfect for all levels, with gentle horses and epic scenery.
If you're looking for seclusion, convenience to the park, and unique experiences like trail rides, this is it. We can't wait to return

Sehr gute Lage. Nur 5 Meilen zur Einfahrt in den Mesa Verde-Nationalpark. Einsame, ruhige Lage. Eignet sich bestens zum Beobachten des Sternenhimmels.
Hinweisschild an der Einfahrt zum weitläufigen Gelände wäre hilfreich, auch wenn das Navi den Weg anzeigt.
Wir waren uns nicht sicher, ob die Anzeige stimmt. Pfannen mussten wir vor Benutzung gründlich reinigen.

Die tolle Lage (Nähe zum Mesa Verde NP/wunderschöne Umgebung), die Sauna, der Nachthimmel und die besondere Atmosphäre im Iglu haben uns sehr gefallen.
Die Schlafcouch war nicht ganz so bequem.
