HTR Durango

The cabin was adorable, spacious and very clean. It had everything i needed for a comfortable stay.

I absolutely loved staying at HTR campground's 'Cozy Cabin' - it lived up to its name in every way. Tucked away in a quiet valley about a mile off the highway, the campground features a handful of cabins, though I believe mine was the only one in the 'Cozy' category. It comes with a comfortable little living area with a couch and TV, a super snug bedroom with an amazingly comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a patio with a grill. While the cabin includes its own private toilet and sink, showers are located in the adjacent bathhouse. I’d recommend this spot in a heartbeat!

The Cozy Cabin was so cute. The kitchenette was well stocked. The couch was comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of windows to open to get a cool breeze. Also used the fans that were provided. The bath/shower house was very clean and great shower pressure. We LOVED the pool. Refreshing. Not too far from Durango . Sad to see no water in the creek.

Minor. My husband is 6'3". The roof on the bedroom and bathroom is slant roof. He had to bend to get into the bathroom and to get in and out of bed. Again. Minor inconvenience. And we appreciated the picnic bench on the deck but a couple of chairs with backs would have been awesome. Again, a minor detail.

Beautiful area . The property and cabins were taken good care of.
