Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Excellent shared spaces Frirndly greeting on arrival and departure. Exceptional value for money.
As a woman of a certain age hsvinv to go up and soon stairs to toilet was a minor drawback for me but not enough to deter me from recommending or visiting again.

Location was convenient. The host was welcoming and the amenities were within walking distance.
The property is advertised as 'Villa with a long burner.' this was not the case at all.
The host used the living space to sleep in as she was renting out her own bedroom! The atmosphere was uncomfortable and did not feel private at all. My business partner and I booked for 5 nights on the understanding that we would be satisfied with what was advertised.
The first 2 days/nights, we had to take a cold shower after a long day at work due to the boiler not working. We had to pay £10 each to use the shower facilities at the nearest gym which was a huge inconvenience for us. We informed the host of this. It would have been courteous and professional to compensate for the charge of the shower at the gym at the least, but she was entirely disinterested. A guest arrived and was mortified that there was no hot water to wash. She was not happy that she was not alerted about this prior to arriving at the property! I expect this was the case for us too.
Breakfast was put out on the first day (very minimal) then we brought our own breakfast for the remaining days. Also, the host
demanded a £150 deposit AFTER we had already arrived. This was not stipulated in the booking requirements. We travel a lot around the UK so we have a good awareness of standards.
