Welcome to a spacious, sun-filled home in the heart of the capital city. With open airy rooms, curated amenities & modern comforts - it offers the perfect blend of style and functionality.
Just a short walk to the city centre, popular shops, local cafes and restaurants - it's an ideal base to explore Canberra's vibrant culture, while providing a peaceful space to unwind.
The Space
Originally built in the 1950s as part of a post-war housing initiative, this two-story home has been completely redesigned to maintain its classic charm.
First floor features:
- Stunning entrance with a classic piano.
- Open living area connected to the kitchen and indoor/outdoor space.
- Elegant dining room, perfect for family meals or intimate gatherings.
- Seating area for entertaining & cocktails, that can easily be converted to a half-bedroom with a comfortable sofa bed.
- A dedicated wine fridge to keep your favourite bottles perfectly chilled during your stay.
- Full bathroom, with AESOP amenities & a washing machine.
Second floor features:
- Two bedrooms with a versatile dividing door, allowing the space to function as two separate rooms or be combined into a spacious retreat for couples.
- Master bedroom with a connecting sunroom, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee in a peaceful, sunlit setting.
- Second bedroom with a lounge that converts into a single bed (ideal for children) and an additional fold-out bed that can be also set up.
- Large bathroom with combined shower and deep bathtub.
Backyard & Garden features:
- Lush backyard featuring a vegetable and herb garden plus orange tree, ideal for those who enjoy cooking with fresh ingredients.
- Hardwood deck with built-in seating and lighting, perfect for al fresco dining or relaxing outdoors.
- Mature trees provide privacy and shade, creating a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.
- The backyard is fenced-in for complete privacy.
Guest access
Self check-in is available! A code will be provided a day before your arrival to access.

The entire home will be yours to enjoy during your stay. Guests will have access to the majority of the home, with the exception of one locked bedroom and the garage.

Visiting friends in Canberra, excellent 2 bedroom double storey house in quiet location within easy walking distance to Macarthur tram stop, Haig park markets, Lonsdale street eateries and shops. Very clean house, comfortable beds and warm shower over luxurious bathtub. Kitchen well equipped, lots of entertaining platters etc. We enjoyed using the piano!

Our family of four stayed at the Braddon classic for a week-long holiday in Canberra. It was very clean and very comfortable- especially the beds and pillows! Great base to explore, as well as a comfortable place to hang out when you need to relax.
