About this apartment rental
The vacation rental is located on the second floor of a historic building whose history dates back to 1348. At that time, the village of Richimbach was founded around a church and a manor. Later, the village was renamed Reichenbach; in 1529, it was given the name Dornreichenbach, a reference to the area’s thick thorn bushes at the time.
During World War II, the manor served as an inspector’s residence; later, it was transferred to the Agricultural Production Cooperative. In 1997, the current owner, Enrico Ullmann, acquired the dilapidated estate and had it converted into a residential and commercial building. He also championed the development of the neighboring animal enclosure. The Lossatal municipal administration had the former washhouse converted into a pilgrim’s rest stop. A paved public parking lot was built in front of the house for visitors to enjoy walks in the park or bike rides through the countryside.

Vacation rental:
The cozy two-bedroom apartment is located in the attic and features a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. It features a double bed in the first bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom.
The kitchen is equipped with a bar table with four chairs, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a Senseo coffee maker (and a few coffee pods), a kettle (various types of tea available), a toaster, a freestanding stove with a glass-ceramic cooktop and oven, a water filtration system (filtered drinking water), a wood-burning stove/fireplace (wood available for an additional fee), and a rocking chair.
The bathroom features a shower stall, a bathtub, a toilet, and a pull-out wall-mounted drying rack. Towels and bed linens are included in the rental price.
For the little ones, there is a children’s art table with two chairs and toys.
The vacation rental is not step-free—and therefore not wheelchair accessible!
On-site costs: Payment is due on site in cash or in advance via bank transfer. A 20% deposit may be charged after booking. Check-in is available from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check-out is available from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. You will receive the key to the vacation rental upon arrival. Please let us know your estimated arrival time. Pets are allowed. Food service (bread roll delivery) and e-bike rentals: 20 euros per day. Firewood is available for an additional fee.
