Have fun with whole family at this stylish place. Feat 2 King & a Queen bed! Conveniently on the 4900 block of New Orleans' famous Tchoupitoulas Street in the heart of the amazing uptown corridor! Near all the parade routes, 2 blocks from Rouses, Win-Dixie, and across the street from Golden File Nail Salon! All the street parking around here is free and abundant! Welcome to our professionally curated three-bedroom historic home in New Orleans, embodying the classic shotgun style where each bedroom connects seamlessly. Renovated with meticulous attention to detail, this 100-year-old gem boasts updated electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning systems, ensuring modern comfort while preserving its historic charm, including tall ceilings that enhance the spacious ambiance.
Upon entering the home, guests are greeted by the inviting kitchen/living room area, complete with brand new stainless steel appliances. From here, the layout leads through the kitchen to the first bedroom, furnished with a king bed and its own TV. Continuing through the first bedroom, guests will find the second bedroom, also featuring a king bed and its own TV. Finally, the layout leads to the third and final bedroom, which offers a queen bed and convenient access to the bathroom.
For laundry facilities, guests can access the outdoor shed located in the backyard. Please note that as the laundry area is outdoors, guests may encounter wildlife or natural elements such as leaves or rainfall. The backyard is communal and shared with neighboring properties managed by us, offering a communal space for relaxation and enjoyment.

All Four units feature a living room/ kitchen, 3 bedrooms with 2 king beds and a queen bed, and a full bath. Each unit has it's own laundry room outside in the attached shed. The 4 back yards are connected.
We get our towels from a linen company. Sometimes the towels might have blotches (i.e., bleach stains, burn marks, or tears). Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and we’ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

The property was in great condition, well cleaned and overall charming. The beds were comfortable, the shower was clean and functional. The shotgun layout did require people to pass through all three bedrooms to reach the bathroom, but this was not an issue for us. We booked this house because it was close to one of our 20th high school class reunion’s events. We appreciated the space to be able to sleep safely after a night of festivities. We had a small hiccup with the check in/getting into the building, but the communication with the property manager was so quick and reliable. I do want to note that this kitchen/main living space is very small. It is also the only room beside the three bedrooms. There are folding chairs provided and a type of banquet seating that worked with a fold out table for eating. This worked for us even though at one point we had a group of 10 adults gathered in the space. We were able to comfortably socialize before going to our event. The beds are spacious and we comfortably slept 5 adult women spread out across the three beds.

Our stay was very good. The location was far enough from the busy city, but it was still plenty of night life near by that was an extra bonus. The beds were super comfy and clean. The laundry and the steamer were a nice touch to get all the wrinkles out of our going out clothes. The host was very nice and kept us updated and checked up on all us throughout the stay.

If you are from New Orleans or have ties there you will appreciate the nostalgia of the shotgun double (although they moved the kitchen to the front room). Enjoyed our stay, would stay again.
