In Berry, 5 minutes from George Sand's Estate and 10 minutes from La Châtre, this stone house with a 300 m² garden and private parking is located in a hamlet overlooking the countryside.
Nearby: Sarzay Castle, La Châtre racetrack, Dryades Golf Course, Lignières Donkey and Horse Center... This old Berry house dating from 1864, completely renovated by us, provides the ideal place to spend a friendly time with friends or family in an authentic setting surrounded by peace and quiet in our countryside...
In the heart of the Vallée Noire, so dear to George Sand, you will have a wonderful time visiting our heritage sites:
the Vic frescoes, George Sand's house and the Sainte-Anne chapel, the Angibault mill, Sarzay Castle, the Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre basilica, the archaeological site of Argenton-sur-Creuse, the town of La Châtre, as well as local festivals and exhibitions not to be missed throughout the year!
In our accommodation for 11 people, you will find:
On the ground floor (accessible to people with reduced mobility): beautiful living room (41m² with exposed beams and stonework and original bread oven), equipped kitchen, bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, bathroom (walk-in shower)/toilet, and laundry room.
Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, including 2 with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, and 1 with 1 double bed, shower room, and separate toilet.
No more worries about the heat upstairs!
You will find air conditioning on the landing, reversible air conditioning
