Nice property, great location

The location was really good, we travelled by car with the property about a 10 minute drive away to the park and ride - which cost £5 to park up and get a bus (2 adults and up to 3 children). The location as well was by a junction with plenty of amenities such as supermarkets and food/drink places to go which we used. The property itself was really nice inside, naturally a couple of nicks and cracks here and there but you need to expect that from a property. They provided fans for the rooms and overall was a nice stay.

The only thing really was the garden, which we didn't use much. There was some nettles overgrowing and the grass could have done with a cut. Didn't use it and didn't impact us, just something to be aware of.

Would use again

Very clean and great to have the whole house for us to relax in. We were able to spread out nicely in the different bedrooms and the little welcome basket was a lovely touch.

The only thing is that we couldn't fit 2 cars on the driveway which wasn't a huge problem as there is a carpark less than 2 mins walk from the house with reasonable parking fees.

Great location on the bus route for easy access to Oxford

Great location

The lighting was very harsh in the lounge - could have done with a floor/ side light with warmer lights. One of the bedroom’s lights didn’t turn off properly and ‘glowed’ all night (first floor back bedroom). No bins bags provided or appliance / TV instructions.

The insane heatwave wasn't ideal but as for the property there wasn't anything we didn't like

Fabulous location. Frequent buses into town round the corner. Lively area with lots of coffee shops and eating places. Extremely comfortable beds and rooms. Immaculate bedlinen and towels. Jas was incredibly helpful and an excellent host, available without intruding. Well stocked kitchen and facilities

On the whole a lovely stay

The property was very clean and in a fantastic location.

A couple of things let it down. 1/ lawn was very over grown and no seating outside. 2/ only 4 knives in draw but there was 7 of us. 3/ attention to detail needed eg: toilet blocks empty, no soap in dispensers although it says provided. 4/ couldn’t get Tv to work

Excellent location and comfortable sleep

Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Newly fitted kitchen and bathrooms. Excellent location with shops/cafes nearby and buses every few minutes into Oxford. Kitchen well stocked and welcome pack gratefully received.

Check in was unfortunately delayed as cleaning not finished. Boiler was not working on arrival but host was very responsive when we called for help. Television wasn't working during our stay. Living room not very cosy to sit in - very white light and echoey room. Main bathroom smelt damp after showering and door did not lock.

Schönes, geräumiges Haus, für ein oder mehrere Tage in Oxford ideal

Als wir ankamen und die Schlüsselbox versuchten zu öffnen, zeigte diese eine Fehlermeldung. Wir riefen den Gastgeber an und er war innert 3-4 Minuten bei uns und konnte das Problem sofort lösen. Danke dafür! Das Haus ist sehr sauber und es hat viel Platz. Wir fühlten uns für die kurze Zeit wirklich wohl. Es hat alles wichtige das man braucht. Der Parkplatz ist vor dem Haus. Auf der Strasse in der sich Haus befindet gibt es mehrere Restaurants etc. Wir kamen abends an und waren froh nur 200m über die Strasse zu gehen und etwas warmes zu Essen zu finden.

Es ist etwas weit vom Zentrum entfernt, heisst man muss sich mit dem Auto oder öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel verschieben. Etwas kleines: Das Haus war bei der Ankunft etwas kalt da die Heizungen aus waren. Der Gastgeber hat die Heizkörper im ganzen Haus aufgedreht als er anfangs vorbei kam. Ca.1-2 Stunden danach war es in Ordnung.
