The location was spot on for visiting my son at University. Large, airy ground-floor flat with garden.
This place could be a gem with a bit of care.
Mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, lumpy, and obviously not of any quality.
The kitchen was lacking in basic equipment. No knives for cutting or peeling, no scissors. One, very badly stained tea towel. The oven and oven tray needed a good wash before use.
No wine glasses.
Usually, a host would start you off with a couple of tea bags, coffee, and most cases, some milk, but unfortunately, there were no personal touches like that here.
Shame because the place has real potential.
