Perfect size for two families of four. Very clean, very comfortable. Close to shops and supermarkets and close to Bondi and Rose Bay

The location was good and the beds were comfortable. There was a laundry which was useful.

The house was tired, there was poor paintwork over strange insulation wallpaper that flaked paint when you brushed past. Most of the windows in the house were broken or sealed shut, so it was hard to get fresh air flowing. The toilet seat was ill fitting and the shower had no built surrounding so water went all over the toilet and bathroom and there was no mop or spare bath mats. The house had very basic cheap furnishings and curtains. Beds were made with sheets that didn’t fit. The huge main lamp in the lounge was broken. The blind in the main bedroom was broken and wouldn’t wind up. There was no coffee plunger or real coffee available as is standard. The property manager clearly wasn’t in Sydney and had very off communication. They were demanding in messages that I pay $1000 deposit which led to great confusion as I had paid in full on booking. They berated me and threatened to cancel my booking if I didn’t pay this extra undisclosed amount that had never been mentioned on the booking information. Considering I had paid the asked amount which was a high cost, and the very average condition the house was in this felt both very inappropriate and actually illegal.
