Ao Nang Tropical House

The house is nice with 2 good sized double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and everything was clean. The property was down a nice quiet street away from traffic noise. The lady that owns the place is super helpful and very responsive. She organised an extra blanket to be dropped round as my daughter was cold at night. There are some good local eats within walking distance and a decent supermarket nearby.

It was very difficult to get taxis to come to the property, so ideally you need either a car or a moped to get around. The light in the kitchen is non existent, so you literally need a torch to be able to cook in there at night. The washing machine doesn’t work properly and leaves washing powder all over your clothes. It either needs replacing or servicing/cleaning. The outside area was disappointing. There were many rubbish bags everywhere, buckets of fag ends and stuff dumped. Not a pleasant area to hang up your washing. The neighbours dog is also quite threatening. He comes out and barks and follows you down the street growling when you come out. This scared my kids a bit.
