I'll be back for sure

From the moment we arrived, we enjoyed the apartment immensely. The key handover was easy (the deposit was only THB1000, instead of the 2000 amount mentioned in the booking.com confirmation), although the front desk staff spoke very little English. We managed through the basics without issue. They were able to communicate via Whatsapp very easily any time of the day. The room is well-maintained, with super comfy linens. The sofa was more comfortable than expected - perfect for our relaxing break. The balcony views over the hill were tranquil. The neighbourhood had a bunch of interesting restaurants within close walking distance. And I really enjoyed chilling at the pool - with a couple sun lounges. There's plenty of parking if you have a motorbike or car, and the security at the front was very friendly. Internet speeds were fast enough and stable. I love this part of Ao Nang, and would definitely come back again.

Most things about the apartment were pretty good but it did have a couple minor annoyances. The hot water didn't work for the shower - so I contacted from desk. They sent a technician up to check the hot water system and he got it working again. However, afterwards it was a little sporadic - sometimes hot, sometimes not so much. The shower water pressure in our apartment (5th floor) was kinda weak which can be annoying when you've got sand stuck to your body after going to the beach. The kitchen had soap, but no dish washing sponge or towel. I had to request the front desk for toilet paper because they missed that. That's about it!

Worth the stay

The location, cleanliness, view, beds everything was worth the money spent.

There was no receptionist at the counter. I had to wait for almost an hour at the reception. There was no communication about the room number which I was supposed to stay in. The other staff available like the guard and cleaning personnel didnt understand or speak english which made the situation complicated

Find a small resort rather.

The apartment was fine, but you may as well be in London or any other city. We should rather have found a small Thai resort - half the price and better service.

No room cleaning service, no daily water, no toilet paper provided daily, no staff around to deal with anything.

Nice rooms that were updated but no service. I realize Thailand has gone through some tough times.

Rooms were updated and clean. Facility had a decent work out room and machines. Sauna was nice and pool was OK.

Not a soul at the front desk. No room cleaning. I left a bag of garbage outside my door thinking that someone would see it a pick it up. It sat there for 3 days up until the day I left. Still could be there for all I know. You do not get value for your money. I had a room with a 2 burner stove. The pots/pans that were in the room looked as though they were from the 80's. the 2 "non-stick" pans were so worn that the non-stick surface was gone.

We booked for 4 people (double bed & sofa bed), but only had bed sheets & blanket for the double bed, nothing for the kids on the sofa bed...quite disappointing, especially since the property sent us an email when booking, to ask how many people will stay, so they can prepare the apartment accordingly!!

The amazing pool, nice modern room and while building. Good location.

It was strange that they didn't clean our rooms at all, we stayed for 3 days and they didn't even bring more toilet paper - we had to ask. Also the toilet wasn't working very well. And the shower kept pouring behind the door so half of the bathroom floor was wet after showering.
