Casa do Adro do Soajo

Lovely host, with whome we had great conversations. It was refreshing to actually stay at the same location as the host (who lives next door), in this day of self checkins. The accommodations were classic in style, like an old manor. The kitchen area was the highlight - a beautiful very rustic space.

We liked everything. But for other travellers do note that the bathrooms are a bit dated (but expected and part the whole charm of the place), and the bed is a double bed.

Location: Unbeatable location, attached to the village church and right on the main square. Parking: Private parking inside the property, with easy access and plenty of convenience. History: A historic house in a historic village, with the owners having welcomed guests for around 40 years. Air Conditioning: AC throughout the rooms, which is a big plus in warmer weather. Space: Spacious rooms with plenty of storage space. Hosts: Lovely owners who are friendly, responsive, and quick to reply on WhatsApp.

Age/Condition: Some of the furnishings and facilities are a little dated, although that is understandable given the age and character of the house.
