Location was quite good . It was clean. Good TV. Plenty space for clothing . Washing machine on the premises . The fans and aircon was good .

I specifically called to check it’s on the ground floor and was assured it was. It wasn’t , my elderly partner with poor balance had to manage the risky stairs daily , not safe . When I emailed Cozie homes I received a dismissive non answer about ‘internal building layout and confusion’ . Very poor . When I emailed a second time to provide details about the layout their response was once again not in line with modern communication standards . No acknowledgement of the issue of being on the first floor and their incorrect information . This apartment block has 6 units : 1, 2 and 6 are on the first floor and 3, 4 and 5 on the ground floor - very strange and random . A friend living in Cairns looked at for me it from the outside , saw stairs which alarmed me and that caused me to ring and enquire about the level . Check in details wasn’t received till after 3 pm and a phone call from me requesting a pin for the lockbox . Another couple was in the same position outside waiting also . They didn’t even know which unit they were in . It is quite noisy traffic wise being between McLeod and Sheridan St . The sofa was extremely uncomfortable . No discount was offered for a long stay . Most importantly when I raised the issue of being upstairs after being told we were downstairs no offer was made to switch us to another unit downstairs when one became available . The advertising is also deceptive as it implies there’s a washing machine in the unit itself .
