About this cabin rental
Only minutes from I-70, nestled amidst a peaceful ten-acre woodland, this charming newly custom-built cabin offers a private escape from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy a mile of well-maintained trails, have a fire or appreciate the spectacular sunsets. Cozy, but packed with all the modern amenities, this cabin is perfect for romantic retreats or family fun without sacrificing the comforts of home.
The cabin is tucked into ten acres of private woods, minutes from I-70. There is a large circle driveway with plenty of parking. There is a firepit, with wood provided, outside dining and seating and a grill with plenty of propane.
The trails have a physical map in the welcome binder and the property boundaries are pinned in Google Maps (there is a QR code to scan for the pins).
We've seen turkeys, deer, eagles and recently an owl!
Inside, you'll see the kitchen and living space when you open the door. The full kitchen is equipped with a double-oven, full-sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of counter space and storage. There are pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, and cups, as well as a children's set in the drawer. There are also basic cooking supplies, including spices, cooking spray and aluminum foil. Sugar, creamer, coffee filters and coffee are provided for the drip coffee maker. A small first aid kit and safety plugs can also be found in the drawers. Dish soap and dishwasher pods are provided.
There is a dining table with benches, you can find scissors, a notepad and pencil as well as a deck of cards in the drawers.
The cozy living room has a couch and love seat, with plenty of spots to put your coffee. The entertainment center has a variety of board games and DVDs for all ages for the DVD player, as well as a Smart TV, so you can watch your favorite channels. Cozy up with the throw blankets and pillows.
The full bathroom directly off the living room has a full tub, perfect for those little toes digging in the dirt. Hand soap, 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash are provided. Fluffy white towels are in the holder and under the sink along with a hair dryer.
The laundry room is also off the living room and has an apartment sized washer and dryer. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets available to use.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, small writing desk with a makeup mirror and a padded stool. There is a nightstand with a white noise machine as well as a Smart TV on the dresser. The closet contains extra bedding, extra chairs, hangers and an iron.
The main bedroom also has a half-bath attached.
The bunkroom has two twin bunks and a twin trundle, as well as a dresser and Smart TV. There is a basket of toys for kids to enjoy and a comfy chair. There is also a white noise machine in the bunk room.
The cabin is heated with mini-splits, which also provide air conditioning.
Just up the road from the renowned Lewisburg Haunted Caves!
Minutes away from adorable Lewisburg downtown, with quaint shops, a bakery, bistro and ice cream shop.
Nearby restaurants include the Brickrhod Bistro, Wengers Bar & Grill and family favorite Sarah's Pizza (they deliver!). Within 15 minutes, you can get to the Olde Schoolhouse Winery, Wings ETC., Fiesta Charra and the China Wok.
