My family and I enjoyed our stay in the 5th floor unit of Ocean Villas. Check-in instructions were easy to follow, and our arrival went smoothly.The unit is in good condition and was supplied with all the necessary supplies for our stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, TV's in each room, a wonderful ocean view, and plenty of towels. Communication with Rio Mar Real Estate was excellent -- our messages to the office were replied to promptly.Our only complaint is that the overall condition of the building needs maintenance and updating. Puerto Rico suffered an island-wide blackout during our stay. This is not the fault of the building, but we learned that the building's generator was inoperative because of "missing parts," so not even the common areas had light until the power was restored (we are thankful we were credited one night for the inconvenience). And while one of the two elevators was not functioning when we arrived, the second elevator stopped working on our departure day, which forced us to take several roundtrips on the staircase to move our luggage and supplies to the garage. If the homeowners had the same energy for keeping the condition of their building in excellent condition as they do for keeping unregistered guests out of their pool area, then we could recommend the Ocean Villas without reservation.The staff is helpful, the location excellent, and our unit was comfortable and family-friendly. But the building itself requires basic improvements.

This place is exactly as pictured, spacious enough to fit our party of five comfortably. The location is superb, right next to the beach. The apartment is located in the same resort as a hotel, an easy beach side walk to the hotel to buy a cup of coffee or drink or dine in if needed. There are multiple swimming pools at the apartment complex ( honestly much better than the hotel pool since not many people are using the pools in the apartment complex, unlike the hotel ones which are crowded ). Staffs are super friendly, both those we see in person, and those we interact on VRBO messaging.
