Meadows Court - Celeste Living Group - Mansion Style Apt

The location is great. 2 minute walk from bus stop. 10mins on bus from Edgbaston stadium and 20 min walk to city centre. The flat is a good size. The kitchen has all equipment you would need although there is limited space to sit and eat. A great base for exploring the area. If you are spending a lot of time in the accommodation I would pay more for something else.

Arrival instructions said the key would be left in a lockbox with a number 3 on it. On arrival there were multiple lockboxes on the wall but none with a number 3. Tried to call the owner/agent but no reply. I ended up trying all the boxes until we found the correct one. The owner/agent did finally call back w hours later but we were out having a meal and so I missed the call. The owner/agent then called again at 9am asking me to make payment for the booking. Payment had been made 3 months previous. I had to send a copy of the invoice as proof!! This accomodation is advertised as having free parking. There is free parking outside the flat but only between 6.30pm and 7.30am. Outside those hours you have to park somewhere else. If you want free street parking you will have to park a 20minute walk away. The only other option is to pay to park in a carpark. Quite pricey at about £20 per day. This is misleading. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen but it only seats 3 so if your party is more than 3 you cant all eat together. The flat was OK overall and it is clear that some effort has been made to do it up but there is still some work required. Missing light bulbs and electric sockets that don't work. The external door in the kitchen has a split in it that you can see daylight through. There is black mould on the grout and filler around the bath. The bath tub panel is broken. There was something splattered on the living room skirting board that looked like it could have been blood. The rug in the living room is a trip hazard. The accommodation is advertised as having a fan. There was no fan/s anywhere in the flat. We visited in the middle of a heatwave and so it was uncomfortably hot. We had to sleep with the windows open but it is located on a very busy road so the traffic noise made it very hard to sleep. Checkout is 10am. The cleaner was knocking on the door at 09.57 wanting to come in and clean the flat.

Spacious apartment, with lots of room and functional devices for the kitchen. Washing machine was an added bonus. Location is close to a few eateries and pubs, and there is limited street parking available.

Too many check-in instructions in too many shared files and links. It could be a bit more streamlined, as it wasn't directly clear where and how to get in without delving deep into the files. The building doesn't have a number directly on it, and the location showed the building next door! Maybe direct messages in the Booking.com chat would be easier? But other than that, none!

No son referencias del meadows court, nos cambiaron a otro . Me refiero al que fuimos, nos reubicaron a uno cuyo ingreso es bastante calamitoso xq la cuadra está en construcción pero al abrir es un lugar de tres plantas precioso

La entrada , pero cuando esté terminado, sería un placer volver a slone house, igualmente digo que no me gusta que habiendo pagado con meses de anticipación y eligiendo por horas, me lo cambian días antes y uno no tiene la posibilidad de nada y acepta lo que sea

The apartment is spacious and a good location nearish to the centre of town. Easy tram ride to get to town/station. The windows opened really wide which was very handing as it was hot. The block is clean and safe. I felt very secure when I was there by myself

The main bed was dire. you can feel the coils when you lay on it. Very uncomfortable. There's a lot of traffic noise but it only took me one night to get used to it. The carpet needs replacing as it shrinking away from the grippers and is a trip hazard. The shower head needs a new arm as it flops so you have to hold the shower otherwise you wash the walls.
