Perfect-City Centre-Apartment

Great location - perfect for exploring central Birmingham. Close to shops, bars and restaurants. Decorated to a high standard, everything was clean & had everything we needed. Great communication with apartment hosts.

We are currently in a heat wave and the apartment was VERY hot - although air conditioning units were supplied and were effective at cooling the apartment.

Large apartment and very clean Perfect location

We booked late in the evening but did not receive the code for the key lock before we arrived. We tried calling the contact number several times, but it just rang out, so we had to contact Booking.com for assistance. After some delay, we were eventually able to access the apartment. To make up for the inconvenience and the difficult check-in process, the host kindly allowed us a later check-out, which we appreciated.

Everything. We had to book this apartment at a few minutes notice as our previously book accommodation let us down! Communication at such sort notice was fantastic and we got in with minimal delays. Apartment itself is brilliant - clean, tidy, comfortable, free WiFi, decent telly, lovely powerful shower...

We had booked this apartment as we were taking our 2 dogs & seeing friends locally . Unfortunately less than 48 hrs before via message we were informed by the apartment manager that this apartment was no longer available , that the landlord no longer rented this property & that there was a " glitch " with the booking .com system as it was still advertising it ??? . He offered us another apartment , near the Mail Box , which was to be fair in a better location. What was frustrating was why weren't we informed a month before ? Also the apartment high up , was several floors up the apartment block and our dogs were anxious did not like the lift. It was a maze of corridors to find the garden area to let them out for a wee. The apartment we were offered the standard of cleaning wasnt a great standard ( kitchen cupboards on outside finger marks, bathroom had a used flannel on floor by sink , not that clean in shower ) although apartment was in good position. Cant review this property we originally booked as we never got there was given a last minute alternative by rental manager. He was helpful , but did not appreciate how stressful it was having to stay in a place that is not practical for dogs & not the actual apartment we booked. Booking.com should address this property not advertise it if its not available.

If we had known this property advertised was not available , we would have cancelled it & found a more practical place for us for dogs. The property manager tried his best to re accommodate us last minute , so we thank him for this but it was stressful as wish we had known a month or 2 weeks before .
