Serene Lakefront Getaway

The property is beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of stores and food choices nearby. We loved sitting around the fire watching the sun set over the water.

The yard was full of geese poop, and hard to avoid when using the yard / fire pit. Some house areas could use some attention.

Really comfortable house that was perfect for our small group of four. Appreciated having coffee provided for the mornings. Beautiful lake and deck. Easy to find with clear instructions for entry.

Everything. This was an amazing place. I will definitely book here again.

There was nothing I did not like about this place.

The main floor was lovely to look at with a lovely view of the water.

VERY dangerous steps leading to the upstairs. Seemed more like a ladder with carpet. Closets doors upstairs are merely boards that are very difficult to slide. The entire house has a very strong iron odor…probably from the well. It appears they have tried to ameliorate it with a water softener but it does not help. Walked to water only one time as the yard is literally covered in goose poop. The king sized bedroom on the main floor has a sliding glass door that does not lock. It has a board in the door; however, the door can still be opened about 2 inches. As a single woman, who stayed alone here for 2 nights, I did not feel safe. The tub on the main floor is poorly caulked. The pictures do it far more justice than deserved.
