Independent old Tuscan stone house with guest house close to Volterra, renovated 2018-2020, with private heated swimming pool in direct connection to old hill-top village with bar/restaurant.
“Casa La Fonte” is a 300-year-old stone house with a guesthouse in the outskirt of a beautiful unexploited small Tuscany hill town. The house overlooks the rolling hills of Tuscany from a south positioned spot.
The house was renovated in 2018-2020 by Scandinavian architects with contemporary design incl. new kitchen, dining room and living room en-suite. The main house and guesthouse have double doors that opens to large paved terraces in different levels. An external large wooden dining table invites for the guests to meet while enjoying the Italian cuisine and wine with nice views and the landscaping around the houses. An additional roof covered terrace with gas barbeque gives opportunity to enjoy the outside if it should rain.
The terraces and yard, arranged over multiple levels, are very private, yet offer sweeping views. The heated saltwater swimming pool is located adjacent to the house with outdoor shower and sunbeds overlooking the rolling hills with wine and olive trees and the neighboring medieval village church tower.
The main house consists of a new modern kitchen and two living rooms on the ground floor. An internal staircase leads to the upper level with two bedrooms and a newly renovated bathroom. The master bedroom is also fitted with a baby crib.
The independent guest house is established in an old stone outbuilding and is suitable for two guests. It has a separate modern bathroom and laundry room. Double doors open up to a private paved terrace.
