The Lighthouse - 1 Bedroom Apartment - Saundersfoot

The room was really nice and well kitted out. Kitchen has everything to assist. Bed comfy, fabrics all high standard and clean. Room did require a few 'touch ups' of the facilities (but nothing major or that detracted from enjoying our stay). Location was fantastic and really added to the stay- central, vibrant but also peaceful. Parking options could have been made clearer on the welcome email- but when you get your head around the local area - you'll save a fortune. The provided book in the room with activities, restaurants and pubs and details was a really nice and helpful touch. Beach was literally over the road and scenery was stunning. Highly recommend Saunders foot.

Towels were available for extra fee - could have been included for the price. Sofa was missing legs so when sitting you were uncomfortable with knees tucked up. Toilet seat was loose and the dimmer switch missing in entrance - (all minor things that just were a tiny inconvenience and I am sure the owner will rectify). Only let down was the WiFi - horrific! You couldn't watch TV in evenings or look up activities on your devices. (I know you don't go on holiday for the internet / stay in watching TV - but after a full day off trekking about- it would have been nice for relaxing). Could have done with an extra fan, as the heat built up during the day (even with blinds pulled).

Lovely flat very clean with fantastic views

The only downside was getting in the first door there was a chap loitering outside not sure if he lived in one of the flats but being on my own I felt a little uncomfortable. Also a pungent smell of weed from other occupants.

A lift.weareboth 90yrs old and found the stairs a nightmare. Also the bed was too small and difficult to access However the team were very good and moved the bed and 2 young ladies were excellent helping leaving
