Appartamento Gioberti 20

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Alghero's old town, with great bars and restaurants just outside the door. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, making it a great base for exploring the city. The area is lively and has a great atmosphere, but with the windows closed it was quiet enough to get a good night's sleep if you wanted an early night. I'd happily stay here again.

The check-in experience could have been much better. I had requested an early check-in, but due to staff shortages I actually ended up checking in later than the standard check-in time. Communication was quick, but it felt quite impersonal, almost like I was talking to an AI rather than a person (although this may have been due to a language barrier). Even by 5 pm, I still wasn't sure how or when I would receive the keys, which made the arrival unnecessarily stressful. The air conditioning could also be improved. It wasn't terrible, but we had to set it to 16°C just to feel reasonably comfortable. There is no AC in the single bedroom, although leaving the doors open helped keep it at a manageable temperature. We also experienced a power outage for around an hour during our stay, but this was not the fault of the host or the apartment, as the whole block was affected.

Todo. Instalaciones, ubicación excelente, amplitud, limpieza.

No hay ascensor y hay que subir la maleta dos pisos pero merece la pena.
