What a great apartment! The location is superb; right in the centre of town near two major metro stations; but because the windows of both bedrooms open to a cul-de-sac, it is still really quiet. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. The living room is small, but the bedrooms are huge, with plenty of wardrobe space and very large comfortable beds. There is a tiny kitchen with a sink, a kettle, two cooking plates, basic cutlery and crockery, a microwave, and a small washing machine, and a very large fridge-freezer. Some staples like salt, pepper, sugar were present and there's a supermarket right nearby for anything else. Towels and clean bedding were available in the vestibule. We were most grateful for the air conditioning because we arrived in a heatwave and the apartment was blissfully cool! But the best thing about this apartment was the owner, Ahmed. He was extremely helpful both before we arrived and after, always available via WhatsApp to answer any questions or help us. British Airways had lost my suitcase and asked for an Egyptian number the courier could call for them to deliver it to me, so I gave them Ahmed's number, and he worked so hard to get my suitcase back to me in time; getting a driver to come out at 1am to deliver it! Next time I'll go to Cairo this apartment will definitely be my first choice again.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Some people in other reviews commented that the bathroom was dirty but we didn't find that - there were some rust stains but they were old and pretty inevitable with Cairo's hard water. Note that you must not stay in Central Cairo if you are in any way uncomfortable with very crowded cities. The apartment is quiet but to get to the metro stations you need to navigate some roads and my friend found Cairo roads very scary to navigate.

خيار ممتاز وسط البلد. الشقة فيها كل ماتحتاجه . الغرف نظيفة. الشقة تصلح للسكن مدة طويلة ل سبب العمل او للعلاج او زيارة الاماكن التاريخية التراثية في قاهرة المعز . ولكن للترفيه الراقي هي بعيدة عن المولات الراقية في التجمع او الشيخ زايد . ملحوظة وهي تستوعب عدد 4 افراد .

عدم وجود شفاط للهواء في الحمام . والحمام جيد ولكنه اقل جودة عن باقي الشقة.

The beds where comfort. Owner came to look for himself and promised to deepclean the house after my complaint. I wish him luck! Best thing was: we could check in early and had late check out for some extra money..

The bathroom, drain of the shower was not oke. Flour was full of stains and the toilet looks dirty from the in and outside. Refridgerator had crums of other people.
