Zeina's apartment in down town

The host is fantastic. Very responsive. The location is great, we loved the neighbourhood. We arrived at a weird time and he was accommodating, and offered to pick us up from the airport (not free, of course). The seating in the roomy apartment is ample and reasonably comfortable. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with dishes except for glasses. Lots of power outlets! Washer worked well and clothes dry fast hanging off the balcony. Linens were clean and there was a good wardrobe to unpack in, and we liked that there were bedside tables on both sides of the beds. We came back for another stay because the host was so good, the neighbourhood is amazing, and overall the apartment was comfortable. The host can't do much about this, but be aware that the building is showing its age, like much of old Cairo. It can be a bit noisy from the street, but you're in the middle of the city!

The place was not clean. Hair in the bathroom from previous guests, crumbs, dirt, the floors were grimy, actual garbage on the floor behind the fridge. Note, we don't rely on toiletries, but all that was provided was liquid hand soap and an old bar of soap. If you take his offer for a ride from the airport, ask for a vehicle in safe condition with seatbelts.

El alojamiento cumplía con las características que buscábamos y el apartamento igual que las fotos. Tenía lo necesario para larga estancia. Estuvimos una semana y nos fue de maravilla. Le añadiría algunos complementos, como un secador de pelo y algún tocador/mueble pequeño en el baño. Por lo demás todo genial y ordenado.Todo correcto. Aún así le hago un poco de hincapié a la limpieza.

The property is located in the downtown Cairo, with easy access to convenient access to local supermarkets and metro stops. To the right, you can go to Islamic Cairo in half an hour by foot or metro. To the left, you can go to the Giza area by taxi in about half an hour. In addition, the kitchen is well equipped with basic pots, pans and cutlery.

If you like experience downtown Cairo in an immersive way, you’d like the property. Otherwise, you may like to prepare ear plugs for a quieter night sleep.

The location is great. Within walking distance to the metro and many shops. It was clean and the owner was very responsive and checked on me during my stay.

Since this is a new rental property, there were bound to be some things missing. I didn’t have a line to hang clothes to dry or a curtain rod in the closet to hang my clothes. A few more dish rags/towels would have been helpful. The beds are both extremely firm. Not necessarily a bad thing, just not my preference.
