Fabulous hotel. Would love to come back for a longer stay!

Beautiful hotel. Comfortable and spacious family room. Beautifully renovated. In the town center but very quiet at night. Super kind and helpful staff who when we couldn’t find the route to the hotel, guided us live via phone. This is excellent service. Wonderful restaurant - quick service and delicious food.

Excellent stay in a great location within a beautiful town center.

The breakfast was very nice and included a buffet of cereals, cheeses, salami, etc. Further, it included a choice of a couple different breakfast mains. The location is excellent with either parking being very accommodating. You can walk everywhere in Vipiteno from this location.

Exceptional Stay

Exceptional stay! We were greeted warmly by Sofia, the Hotel Manager, and experienced a smooth check-in. The level of care and elevated service was notable. We stayed in a spacious Suite that felt like home... comfortable, modern with splashes of its history, innovative, and thoughtfully designed. They integrated wellness into the very fabric of our stay with a relaxing spa and wellness space. Breakfast served in their wonderful restaurant was quite delicious and locally sourced. The hotel is deeply rooted in its surroundings, which reflects the region's culture and gave us a sense of connection. We highly recommend and will absolutely stay there again.

Lovely new rooms

Very nice family rooms, all renovated. Great showers and the kitchenette in the room was very nice! The hotel has a lovely scent!

We had a lovely stay there but if I had to pick one thing that I didn’t love was the lack of staff during breakfast time. There was one person working in the kitchen and one person serving and about 20 tables full. The lady was doing her best but it was just impossible to serve everyone. Things in the buffet had finished and hadn’t been replaced.

Was ganz besonderes mitten in Sterzing

Das frisch renovierte historische Gebäude beeindruckt von Anfang an. Problemloses einchecken und angenehme Einweisung. Wer Glück hat kein einen der wenigen gebührenpflichtigen Parkplätze im Innenhof reservieren. Das Frühstück hat die Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt. Zimmer sehr geräumig und sowohl stilvoll als auch zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Betten top. Kleiner aber feiner Wellnessbereich. Das im Gebäude befindliche - nicht hoteleigene Restaurant (kann aber über das Hotel reserviert werden) - ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen.

Eigentlich nichts. Als konstruktive Anregung: eine zweite Bank im Skikeller wäre hilfreich

Wir waren begeistert!!

Ich kann nur schwärmen vom Ambiente (absolut gelungene Symbiose von alter Substanz, historischem Charme und moderner Einrichtung) und mit dem freundlichsten Personal, das ich je erlebt habe (wir wurden herzlich empfangen, aufs Zimmer begleitet und haben neben einer Erklärung aller wichtigen Dinge auch eine interessante Erzählung über die Historie des Hauses erhalten). Wir hatten einen Cozy Room gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, schön und modern eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht. Der Wellness Bereich ist klein aber sehr fein, Relax Space und Saunabereich (mit Dampfbad und finnischer Glas(!) Sauna, die in einen 8m hohen Raum platziert wurde - man kann durch das Glasdach den gesamten Raum sehen) sind auf zwei Ebenen verteilt und bieten genau die richtige Entspannung nach einem Ski- oder Rodeltag, bevor es danach zum Abendessen ins Italian Restaurant geht. Hervorragendes Essen und ebensolcher Service sind auch hier Programm. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, frisch und für jeden Geschmack. Zu guter letzt noch die Lage: direkt am Stadtplatz neben dem Turm gelegen ist der Schwarze Adler der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für den Weihnachtsmarkt, zum shoppen in der Innenstadt oder um zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zur Seilbahn des Rosskopfs zu gelangen. Wir werden gerne ganz bald wiederkommen und freuen uns jetzt schon.

Camera fantastica, con sauna all’interno, tutto curato nei minimi dettagli, ottima pulizia, edificio recentemente ristrutturato, la camera con vista sulla piazza centrale e quindi sui mercatini di Natale da favola, personale gentilissimo, colazione ottima e gentilezza dello staff che ha festeggiato con un biglietto di auguri ed un ottimo tiramisù durante la colazione il giorno del compleanno di mia figlia. Posizione ottima 5 minuti a piedi per raggiungere gli impianti di risalita.

Es war alles wunderbar. Die Einrichtung ist äußerst geschmackvoll und Bett und Matratze ein Traum. Die Dekoration so toll und genau im richtigen Maß. Das Frühstück war superlecker und das Personal superfreundlich. Es ist alles ganz neu und man fühlt sich durch und durch wohl!

Früher DAS Hotel am Platz - heute wieder DAS Hotel am Platz.

Der Schwarze Adler war früher "das Hotel am Platz" - und ist es heute wieder. Sehr freundliches Personal, die Zimmer perfekt. Wir hatten einen Parkplatz direkt beim Hotel (Innenhof) gebucht. Wir sind bereits Mittags angereist (habe das dem Hotel auch mitgeteilt). Bei Ankunft war kein Parkplatz im Innenhof frei, was aber kein Problem war, da man sich sofort darum gekümmert hat. Der Empfang an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und einladend. Auch das Zimmer war bereits Mittags schon bezugsfertig. Wir haben einen Zimmerupgrade erhalten. Das Appartement war sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden (wir haben es nicht benötigt, aber komplett ausgestattete Küchenzeile, mit allem, was man braucht). Ein sehr schöner, großer Balkon. Der Neuaufbau des Hotels hat ein sehr modernes, geschmackvolles und gemütliches Hotel entstehen lassen, das mit dem "alten Schwarzen Adler" eigentlich nichts zu tun hat. Aber nur eigentlich. So finden sich überall in den Gängen die alten Holztüren als Wandschmuck. Die Neuinterpretation des Logos (der schwarze Adler) ist einfach sehr gelungen und findet sich überall wieder. Das Restaurant gehört nicht wirklich zum Hotel - ist aber auch sehr zu empfehlen. Ich war früher Stammgast im Schwarzen Adler und werde es jetzt auch wieder werden.

Altes ehrwürdiges Haus mit Topp-Innenausstattung, sehr gepflegt und sauber, schönes großes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Stadt, sehr freundliche Service-Mitarbeiter auch knapp vor 21Uhr, leckeres Frühstück im netten Ambiente, auch da Bedienung super! Großer Pluspunkt: viele Leihschirme, denn es hat am Morgen geschüttet.
